CS files and disc
I got Morrowind as a birthday present a few years ago, and have played it often since then. Recently I have wanted to do some modding, however my Morrowind only came with the main installation disc. No CS disc means no access to textures and meshes, so I was wondering where I could get those files at?

Re: CS files and disc
Actually, the CS is on the same disc as the game and you do have access to the textures and meshes, even without the CS (they're located in the "Morrowind.bsa"-file, which is used by the game). When you install the game, you should be prompted if you want to install the Construction Set, too. So, try re-installing the game and it should solve your problem.

I've never been able to find the default textures and meshes. They're just not in the folders. Am I looking in the wrong place? (E.g. if I have a vanilla object in the CS, with some generic model like "de_table_01.nif", if I click the button to select a new mesh and then hit "cancel", it deletes that filename and path instead of keeping the original model, as if the file does not exist anywhere in my installation.)ClockworkCadaver wrote:you do have access to the textures and meshes, even without the CS (they're located in the "Morrowind.bsa"-file, which is used by the game)
