You should also have more mounts from the DLC/Expansions, like a Elytra mount from SI(Though there's a Unoffical mod that does this), Crusaders Mount from KotN(The strongest and fastest of them all) etc. etc.

With the water mount, wouldnt you drown?
However, the dragon would be a little lorebreaker, cause the dragons are an extinct race, but it's would still be nice to have them :D

Water Mount: Big Slaugtherfish/Big Mudcrab?
Ground Mount: Horse, Bear, Lion and Wolf.
Air Mount: Pegasus, Dragon, Cliffracers and Dwemer Flying Machines/Helicopters?
Doin my own, thang, and if you got a problem with that
Then the nina go bang, bang, and I'll be everywhere on the map - but
I rep that West

I would like to attack from my mount. There is not much point in having a horse if you have to dismount every time you see something you want to attack.

You could get poor quality horses which freak if you cast a fireball whilst riding them, and you could get good quality well trained mounts which are fearless in all situations.

If mounts were to be developed further, a riding skill could be introduced which would allow you to stay on a horse which had bolted in fear, and do combat tricks like firing a bow whilst charging. There could be jousting competitions, striking someone (and being struck by someone) whilst charging would cause critical damage.

However, I'm not sure I know what horses are doing in the game anyway. With the fast travelling they're not essential, and if you want to run away from things in the wilderness it's just as easy to make your character fast with potions and items as it is to buy a horse.
It seems they put horses in because they could, and that steeds are a work in progress addition to the game. I wonder what they'll do with horses in the next game?

Horse combat would definately be a big bonus. The epic factor for 'The Defence of Bruma' would have been boosted a lot if Martin, yourself and the soldiers of Cyrodiil rode into a glorius bloodbath rather than running in.

Hunger and thirst. Just for the roleplayers out there.

Fitness, so you could become fat if you ate too much and butch if you did a lot of physical stuff.

There are also a whole lot of subtle things that are missing from Oblivion, like the invisible birds, heard but not seen. More animals should drop meat, which would tie in nicely if there was hunger. Stuff like that.

Id like more variation in staffs, theres only possibly 3 in the whole game that are worth using. Also to be able to use it as a melee weapon and smack people with it if they rushed you would be nice.

I'm all for horse combat, I think hat would add a lot to the game. As for all this talk of eating and so on... Come on people, are you serious? Do you have any idea how tedious that would get? This isn't The Sims, it's The Elder Scrolls, a fantasy RPG, not a dull life simulation.

I was just disappointed by the battle for Defence of Bruma. That talk about a big battle excited me, but then there were like fifteen of us. I'd like to see a larger-scale battle.

Yeah, a larger bettle would have been nice. Where were the blades? Surely they should have been with their emperor, since it took three to escort him through a sewer that they believed was empty why would they only send two to protect him during a battle?

The only problem with having large-scale battles is that it would cause the game to lag a lot.

Probably enchanting items with more enchantments like having Fortify Mysticism and Illusion on your own custom item or probably upscaling enchantments.. Was this said already? :?

Wounds. If you slash someone across the face with a claymore, it should leave a mark. I mean sure, they want to keep the T/M rating but come on.

Yea, and you have to wash your blade before the blood goes off.
Blood doesnt vanish like that, does it?

Yeah! Hell, Turok 2 on the N64 kept the blood on your blade until you sheathed it or slashed the ground a couple times!

And you should be able to write, or paint or something like that.. :?

Well in Oblivion, the blood actually also gets removed if you sheathe if a couple of times, but i think of that as unrealistic.

Since the Oblivion crisis happened all over Tamriel (or The whole world?)
I would like to explore the whole of Tamriel.

There was only a limited amount of ways to earn fame and an infinite amount of infamy. What I'm saying is that there aren't alot of oblivion gates.
Or that there should be a way to gain fame without quests and gates

A reason for all the guards in the world to instantly know what you've done to that lonesome courier and her horse.

An actual battle. Siege....

The sub races of the Argonians and Khajiits
i liked the sub race you played as in Morrowind

well not if the 3D engine would be optimized. have a look at Mount & blade. it can have 250 vs 250 with some mod.

with normal game there is the 25 vs 25. That area is free of grass and trees anyway... so the problem must be elsewhere.

Unfortunately, no. Me and king were talking about this in another thread. While a large scale battle would be literally one of the greatest things i could think of in a game like oblivion, that is probably not gonna happen anytime soon. You could make such a battle if you wanted to though.

The problem isnt the game but the computer. Few of us have the pc to handle the game at max resolution and run it w/o skipping. Now imagine that, but with hundreds of characters doing there own thing at the same time in close proximity.

That would be cool though if we did have the pcs to run it. Think of like braveheart style battle. I wouldnt even fight one guy toe to toe, id just run by slashing randomly. Man thatd be sweet.

The lack of spears, I think it has been said before but oh well.

The fact that all people of a race talk the same.

The Raven wrote:With the children problem, you could just (like Children of Morrowind) give them lots of hp, and if they got involved in combat, they could just teleport(vanish) and respawn, say 3days after.

Thats my opinion
I reckon they should give kids the ability that haskil has, where when you hit him it dosent dmg him at all

Wiki says, that Bethesda was discussing this, if they wanted to add children to the game. They wanted to create it realistic, so invunerable kids doesnt seem that realistic does it? But then again, they dont want you to be able to kill the kids. So its a 50-50 situation.

I think it's missing any knowledge of what's going on in the other provinces. Other than Jiub getting killed and Vivec MAYBE, POSSIBLY dying, there's basically no information as to what's going on elsewhere. Guess the people of Cyrodiil are more concerned with the boycott of Imperial goods in the Summerset Isles.
