So i've killed the dragon and saved Quina. Now that is how you do a final boss. Surprisingly, i killed him on my first attempt and the dragon was easily one of the best characters in the game. He didn't even get angry as i killed him and remained calm. Now, why couldn't the final Alduin fight in Skyrim be as good as this was. Here, it was simply a dragon who chose those that he believed to be worthy of defeating him as part of a cycle and was an epic fight. In Skyrim, you fight the world eater and it's a crap fight. Currently in the everfall and got my arse kicked by the evil eye.

Grigori and Alduin do not serve the same purpose, and Grigori is the only Dragon. He's not simply anything. Perhaps you should check his lore again.

What about the Ur-Dragon? There are also Drakes.

Please, check the lore again. :(

The Ur-Dragon comes from something different. It is a split off from Grigori.

Drakes are Dragonkin, but they are not Dragons. Grigori is the only Dragon.

True and i was just comparing the final fight instead of the dragons lore in said games. Grigori was an excellent antagonist and was just doing his role. He seemed to have respected the Arisen after they defeated him. He doesn't seem to enjoy destruction and has an excellent voice actor.
Spoiler:
Edmun Dragonbane is a coward greedy sod that deserved the pain he suffered once he got his heart back. But he should have known not to attack someone who is known for taking on massive monsters and killing them with ease or wiping out goblins and so forth.
I hate the Evil Eye as i'm trying to kill that [&@%!]. Only have 2 mages, 1 ranger and 1 assassain. But i have been putting Dark Arisen off so i shall teleport back to Black Isle and focus on completing that before doing the rest of the side quests.
Spoiler:
I love what they did with the dragon's death. Instead of the typical you have killed him and the world is saved ending, you have basically made things worse. A part of Gran Soren falls into the everfall and is destroyed. Stronger monsters are unleashed onto Gransys and the sky changes to a more sinster colour.
And Quina turned out to be my love interest. :D I think i've reach the point of the game where it doesn't matter what i wear due to me not really having trouble with most of the enemies. That said, i've probably reached that around level 35. Anyway, time to conquer Dark Arisen.

Aelinore is my love interest, after I tried to kill her after the first mission.
Oh well.

I have an annoying bug in my game where, during long fights, the x box randomly restarts itself.
Yes, It is as frustrating as it sounds. I fought the dragon 3 times, and I was about to kill my first drake.

Made my way through Dark Arisen and came accross a giant evil eye. I've yet to beat the normal version let alone the DA version. Thus i teleported out of there. Thinking of changing to magic archer as the assassain vocation is no longer useful. Also, i defeated the Hydra yesterday. Although the cheating [&@%!] is not an honourable foe and how on earth did he get someone to post that quest on the notice board? If he was honourable, it would have just been me and my pawns against him. What? He is massive and has 5 heads. I have 3 pawns and he is powerful. :D

Hey, so I just FINISHED the game, and I need some help
Spoiler:
So I'm the senechal. The cut scene was awesome. I can walk around all ghost like, but I have questions.
The Eve fall trials are gone. OK, I can do with that. I hear I can still fight the Ur dragon, who was the only one I cared about anyway. But what about the Dark arisen content? And story wise, am I still a fisher man who gets chosen again?
I'm still in the chamber.

Spoiler:
No they lied to you. You can't do anything but be Senechal forever and always. You no longer exist in that world. You life is yours to to do with a you choose, as the Dragon says. My advice, is for you to do away with it. Harakiri, like. I think you know what you have to do.

Okay: THE. GAME. ENDS. WHAT. DON'T. YOU. GET. ABOUT. THAT? The game is over. The credits play. You can't play anymore. Game over. Done. Finnish. Ending. I don't have any other ways to say it. You can start a New Game+, but that's just starting the game all over with current stats. Otherwise, no. It's done.

God damn it. I thought there would be like a reverse check point like when you Choose to become the new Duke.
oh well. Guess I'll play the DA content and call it a game.

Oh, and it isn't a completely new game. there's that port crystal on the beach that lets you Fight the UR dragon whenever.

Edit- and apparently a whole bunch of other stuff.
This is what i was asking about.

I completed DD 2 days ago and that was an excellent ending. Instead of starting NG+, i started a new game mainly because i had so much crap in storage and i was unwilling to sort through it. Playing as a Mage and my main pawn is a Mage as well. Saurians are easy. Forgotten how annoying Bandits are at low levels. Going to turn my arisen into a sorcerer as well as my main pawn once i've maxed out that vocation.

You keep everything in storage and unlock a few new sidequests. Oh and can fight an undead Dragon from the begining via riftstone.

I hate one thing about this game and that is no cliping through walls. In the quarry, i met several deaths because of the ogre noclipping through the goddamn wall. Have it destroy the doorway if you want ogres to be able to reach the player on the other side, not bloody noclip through it! Going to turn my Arisen into a sorcerer and keep my Main Pawn as a mage for support.

I got kicked into the never ending void by the BFW in dark Arisen one. Speaking of DA, i'm doing that currently. Am level 31 and at the bit where the cockatrice is. Just going to keep burning it and unleashing lighting on it. Am a sorcerer now but MP is still mage.
