I just saw something weird I'd never seen before: an NPC dressed as a Vigilant of Stendarr (novice robes of restoration, steel boots, etc) and who was identified by the hovertext as such ("Talk Vigilant of Stendarr") but who was obviously a vampire, with the vampire face and glowy eyes. She started to say something, but then her text changed to "Talk Vampire" and she became hostile. Is this a legit random encounter or a bug?

Is it Letrush? I've had one and a half of those guys by the Whiterun stables, then I got a half-in-the-ground Skjor corpse sliding around in Darkwater Crossing.

So I have my Level 36 Nord and I am getting bored so I make a new save, and I play play play for 5 hours. Then I save, accidently over my level 36 without knowing. So the next morning I try to go to my Nord, but I noticed it was gone so heres how it plays out:

(At 6:00 A.M. Moms in bead)

Me: *Blink Blink* FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
Mom: (Panting and screaming) WHAT IS IT?!?!?!
Me: I saved over my level 36 with my level 2
Mom: *Confused look*
Me: Strong guy is gone forever
Mom: ohhh
Me: Yeah
Mom: *Goes to her room*

I left Whiterun after doing some shopping, and when I was in front of the stables a freakin' dragon skeleton fell out of the sky and landed two steps in front of me. I almost fell out of my chair and I think my 18-months old nephew just learned a few words he really shouldn't.

Something I need to draw a picture of at some point. I can't remember which character I was playing, going to have to check, but I had Erandur as my follower after doing his quest. I take him along to Meridia's temple, and somewhere along the way Erandur decided to run around in nothing but boots and a helmet and he rushes in to try and take out what's-his-face that had corrupted the temple and created all the shades. I wasn't a very high level so I had to try SEVERAL times before I beat the guy, and every time the game reloaded Erandur was still naked and would rush in after the guy.

And that's why you should always, ALWAYS, keep many saves on Elder Scrolls games.

For some reason random skills keep leveling for me, even though they're skills I don't use and aren't currently using. For instance I leveled 1 level of one-handed and light armor even though I hadn't unsheathed my one-handed weapon (much less used it) for a few minutes, and I don't even use light armor (all-out heavy armor). Then, this other time, while I was just running around, I leveled in 2-handed (even though I haven't touched a 2-handed weapon at all in my playthrough) as well as light armor again.

Anyone know what's going on? It doesn't bother me too much since it doesn't affect my leveling progression that much (and I generally let my PC naturally level), but it's kind of weird. I've never had it happen before - could it be a mod gone bad?

Well, yes, actually. Happens in a lot of games. I have a trio of them, including one half entombed. I think there's some speculation that it's caused by fast-traveling to the Whiterun Stables. That's not the only issue, though, because my character had the problem without fast-traveling once.

This was quite some time ago, but I was doing the Battle of Whiterun for the Stormcloaks. Everything was going perfectly normally -- up to the part where I had to force Jarl Balgruuf to surrender. Instead of giving me the objective "Force Jarl Balgruuf to surrender" as I believe it meant to tell me, I got instead "Force Jarl <Alias=Jarl> to surrender". This, of course, broke the whole quest, but I didn't know it at the time, so I racked up quite a bounty for myself killing Imperial Soldiers before I realized I had to reload, which fixed it.

Just a bit strange, if anything.

This happened last night: I was clearing out some bandit lair, and I walk into a room and there's a dead mage in a cage and he is GOING CRAZY, in a Geddan "Get Down" kind of way! I made a video of it:

I keep laughing every time I watch it. Maybe that's a vampire, I don't think I bothered to open the cage and get his stuff.
Lol Letrush, I had like 8 of them at one point, and they were all different (I checked their pockets). I found him sometimes out in the world, and he would see me and then start running to Whiterun stables. And when he got there? He was already there! All of him are gone now, though. I miss them

After finishing the Companion's questline, Aela started following me all through Whiterun and starting a conversation with me when she got close enough. I punched her in an attempt to make her stop, and after I payed my bounty ALL of the Companions started chasing me through Whiterun. I had to reload a previous save to get them to stop.

In the beginning, the theif actually ran away without getting hit by the arrows.

I killed a bunny using the flames spell, then it blew up in a massive explosion.

As I ran through one of the small towns (Dragon Bridge, maybe?), to my delight, I found everyone without clothes.

I sneaked up behind a guard, pulled out two daggers, and the guard dropped dead, before I had attacked.

This is probably common but I get that fast travel glitch where you get NPCes accompanying you on fast travels. That poor little girl from Riverrun suddenly found herself at the highest peak of High Hrothgar (I think this was just after her mother died in a dragon attack too), stared at me in annoyance, and began the long frosty troll-ridden trek down.

so i went dungeon diving and when i went to block time slowed time, but it didnt just slo down for the power attack, it stayed slow, this has happened to me before so i thought no big deal it will go in a minute only this time it didnt, so i decided to wait and hour see if it would kick it back into normal play, but it wouldnt let me way when i selected one hour it and pressed enter it just stayed there until i cancelled, so i decided to amuse myself and pulled out the crossbow and so i fired some bolts ran past them and took a screenshot of them about to hit a draugr, the pictures arnt great but they amused me. so here you go i thought id share

I once was around the eastern springs of Skyrim, I found a bear and shot him with my bow. He flew into the air at a perfect angle the whole time I was sitting there lmao-ing as he roared from about 30 feet in the air, I tried shooting him again, but it didn't work, just clipped through him as he sailed into the sky.
I then proceeded to shoot another bear nearby, only for the same thing to happen.

1) Got a ransom note from some Redguard bandit outside my estate, didn't bother rescuing my so-called 'wife' that only says "it means so much to have the claw back where it belongs, thank you".

A few days later I guess they got bored as well, they released her, checked in my home, found her sleeping, now I am unable to speak with her. She gets up, waddles like a penguin with spaced legs and falls through the ceiling.

Redguards done their job I suppose, released her at least, can't blame them.

2) I was playing on my newly created Dunmer account, travelling to Windhelm.
I decided to confront Rolff whilst he was having a drink, unfortunately I didn't even have 10 gold in my pocket so the conversation goes,

Rolff: "You damn gray-skin. Go back to Morrowind!"
"Oh yeah? One hundred gold says I can send you back to where you came from"
"I said ONE HUNDRED GOLD, damn broke elves".

During the introduction, the carriage going to Helgen you're riding in somehow managed to go "off the rails" and then glitched, and then took off into the sky like a rocket lol. Like when you get hit by a Giant..
