Nzuri nodded, the hint of a smile showing. "The things we do when we are young," she said, quite ironically. "And the things we do when we are a little older," she continued, gesturing with a hand at the road they were walking on.

She was quiet for a moment before asking, "What is it like to be the daughter of a Daedric Prince?" looking at both Irriwen and her girlfriend. "Have you met your parent?"

"Apart from not being able to miss a bowshot? Not much different from before." Irriwen shrugged. "I haven't met Hircine yet. Which is disappointing, because I think he's probably an interesting fellow."

"I'll tell you one thing," Siaenach interjected. "Mehrunes Dagon is not your cuddly ma, I'll tell you that."

"Really? You've broken my whole picture of him." Irriwen said with a mildly impertinent grin, wrapping her hand around Siae's shoulders protectively.

"So you have seen yours?" Nzuri asked. She moved a bit closer to the couple.

"Yeah. I think it was one of the times I threatened to leave. Can't remember which one. I went to a trance and then I was in the Reach, with some monstrous Briarheart talking to me," Siaenach said.

"Threatened me with all sorts of stuff if I left. At least the power of Revolution might help me if I ever decide to brave my exile."

Feather-Tail returned to the home's hall once having changed, finding Vask's armor to be restrictive despite the relative similarity of the two Argonians' builds. He was accustomed to lightweight protection, valuing practicality over tradition such as an esteemed general could not.

Wearing the armor, boldly indicative of loyalty to Argonia and of the people's appreciation, brought to Feather-Tail's mind the motivations which had become so pliable and shaken as the Chosen's journey progressed. He no longer possessed his former righteousness and self-assured moral vision, having been forced to reassess his devotion in the face of great struggle. Vask' clear-cut identity and well-known triumphs only reminded Feather-Tail of the absolution which he had for so long labored to attain.

The ensemble's helmet, the key to the planned ruse's success, was cradled in Feather-Tail's arm- he took a long moment before donning it as to gather the resolve required for the suicidal endeavor ahead.

JV is right, I'd definitely love to finish this story, but not if Matt is going to rush it half-heartedly just to get it done with. I would find that very unsatisfying.

If we do go forward, I would like to know who is still active. I'm very confused now.

Sebastien, who had never seen his Daedric father and found the fine line between skill and luck so hazy he was not entirely convinced this whole thing wasn't a strange lie created by Singer (though why this strange group of adventurers, the Breton would never know), only drummed his fingers along the hilt of his prize sword and tried his best to stay quiet and focused. One was much easier for him than the other.

Vask, dressed in finery, stepped into the hall. "Stay safe." He offered. "Allow the assassins to reveal themselves, but do not allow them to kill you. When they realize who you truly are, the chaos will hopefully draw the mastermind out of hiding."

Singer drew Wulija into a conversation at an intersection close to the palace. He moved when she did, blocking her view of the others. The Chosen had to wait until Feather-Tail returned.

Yeah, that's true. Although Seb loved Tierace, so if you talked to him he'd entertain Florian. Which would be good, since I think Elyntine isn't coming back. :C

Florian hummed a tune again, he grinned at people around him, holding his dagger, spinning the string. "Doo de do dooh de doh. Do do de doooh de doh.." He said softly.

Nzuri was intrigued by Florian's position on that particular subject. "Really?" she asked. "How can you take such a strong stance on something so controversial?" she asked. "Wouldn't that change our goals entirely?"

Florian turned to Nzuri. "So, anything else that the redguards believe in other than Ru.. Rupt... The god back in Hammerfell?" He really couldn't remember or pronounce the name.
