Tough choice...Ice, I would suppose.
I'd then use my newfound body with old intelligence to befriend the local guard carefully, and make a living keeping peoples drinks cold on hot summer days.
Nah frost atronachs are such tanks, they're so big, and get no where near as much respect as they deserve. Personally I think a frost atronach could take down the entire palace guard then kill ocato
I am the darkest most evil creature known to man. I am STEELY MCBEAM!

well you could try get a summon frost atronach spell or get the familiar from frostcrag spire then attack a guard and good luck
Frost Atronach. Those things are cool! And Storm Atronachs can be knocked back, and killed easily is a couple rocks go to a Mine/Lava. And Fire Atronachs are small and annoying. Flesh Atronachs are like Karate things..
Storm. They look the coolest. Plus their segmented nature is just so much fun. The way they become all tornado when they chase. Plus it's fun to toss their pieces around after they die.

But I do think the Frosts look really good, and as others have said, I love the "segmented" nature of Storms as well, both when they move, and when they're blown apart.
Storm, I think there's a stealth dimension to them not explored in Oblvion. Allow me to paint you a picture with my imagination brush. A random character is travelling on their way to Anvil, they pass some rocks on the way but pay them no heed, the next thing they know they've been hit in the back by a bolt of lightning.
