And thus the Pioneer began. The entire crew got wiped out by a Xenomorph within an hour of starting their journey.

Earth Federation Vessel Pioneer
She was a beautiful vessel, slick and well designed with state of the art technology bristling all over the hull. Beneath it's nose was a singular Railgun, it was an intimidating weapon no doubt- firing slugs of car sized metals hyper accelerated to near the speed of light. Emblazed proudly on the front of the Pioneer was a globe within a shield- the official badge of the Earth Federation.
Inside was a full complement of crew, Enforcers and those lucky enough to be selected for the exploration mission.
But where were they in the belly of the great beast? Perhaps they were enjoying a fresh meal produced onboard in the bowels of the ship. Or maybe the observation deck peering into the endless expanse of space, or enjoying a few rounds in the Pioneer's virtual firing range.
Though it was entirely possible they were just enjoying themselves in the relaxation room, simply lying in their rooms or wandering the Pioneer.

O'Sekra Military base on Hyati.
Aaro didn't have time to admire the simple yet effective designs of O'Sekra architect. Their smooth triangular builds and somewhat cold yet inviting structure.
She was too busy being dragged along by the O'Sekra she had dubbed Black Eye.
The Zandri was thrown into a cell. A nice, warm cell.
"Enjoy your nice warm cell," He taunted, "You left my friend to be iced on the surface, enjoy the heat."
This was at the time a young Zandri male was being walked into the cell building.
"Do what you have to do," An O'Shemsa in a battlesuit informed Yetty.

James was sitting on the bed in his and Jessica's room, waiting for her to exit the bathroom. He didn't know what she was doing in there, and he really didn't want to know. He looked around the room as he had several times already, reminding himself of where everything was.

Aaro got angered at Black Eye, and while he was leaving she yelled at him "Unlike most of my kind, I actually make the extra effort to kill my enemies by slitting their throats in clean cuts. This only makes you a hypocrite, you foulish brute! Let me out of here! Good luck fixing your weapons." Not quite under the effects of the heat just yet, she banged on her cell walls with her hardened skin, hoping that somehow they would move. She banged her head on the door in frustration and started cursing in Zandri language. Basically what she said "Big freaking heat loving black eye yapes."

Black Eye turned to leave.
"Heelox will do it easy."

James continued to look closely at everything, describing it in his mind, even if they were just vague generic terms.

David had just started his shift. The previous night, he had spent with his lover, Jessica Flower. They had managed to keep their affair a sercet on every ship that they had served on or at least that is what they thought. His shift covered the patrol from the relaxation room to the observation deck. He whilsted as he started patrolling pioneer.

The room was somewhat similar to that of a hotel room.
There were several closets that suspended clothing in a gravity field, a virtual reality system, a hologram projector, a king-sized bed and a door leading off to the spacious bathroom.
There was a small table in the large room too.

David's patrol route was the same as always, he passed through the corridors, however he heard a shout from the conservation room.

'What's a Heelox?' The female Zandri thought to herself, beginning to feel the effects of the heat. She made a somewhat distressed painful moaning sound. She kicked the door for good measure and sat by it as it was the coldest thing in the room, but it wouldn't be for long. "Now I see why they freeze you in the snow." Oh if and when she got out of that cell she would drag Black Eye to the Nicest and Biggest Iceberg in the area and bury both of them in there. She would make an Ice Cell, with his name carved on it! "Nice...Ice...Cell..." She caught herself then and began cursing, though it was harder to do so with the heat as she felt like she was melting. She wished she had the ability to heal herself, and thought that her skin could protect her from the heat.

Alex was upon the observation deck, the vast expanses of space never failed to impress him. He was pressed against the glass taking in the stars.

Yetty nodded. "S-Sir?" He asked, not entirely sure of his job, he was in his hoodie and jeans, naught much else but his enviroment suit under his clothes.

Also, having David's lover named Jessica is sure to end up in a scene of misunderstanding if he and James ever meet up.

Jack stood in the observation deck while he was on break from patrol. Its so beautiful, maybe one day I can bring Ariana with me. he thought. Well, better eat while I'm still on break. he decided as he walked to the eating area, admiring the technology that went into the making of the vessel.
