Nerevar's Prowess
"Mhm," Per replied. His captors could rot down here for all he cared.
As Per made his way to the deck, he felt another wave of seasickness coming over him. His head spun, but he managed to keep the meager breakfast he had been fed down.
The Nord had seen Gudrun several times in passing the last few weeks, but they had not spoken since she had revelealed her plan. He really had no idea of what to expect from her now.
I can't believe I feel for that harlot, he scolded himself as he stepped up on deck, and looked around for the young Nord. She at least could've put out if she gonna seduce me.

"I bet that cold N'wah [&@%!] will be coming with a cartload of help." Llela grumbled, plunking her elbows on the table and resting her chin in her palms, her black hair hanging over her eyes.
"You know... As big pains in the ass they were... I would almost kill to have Kent, Aythu, or even that old grump Voryn here, to back us up, and provide comic relief."
She left the memory of Cherdenko unsaid.
"Or, Owyn and Per... I miss them."

Suran, Smithy
"Tell you what," the Orc said, turned around and went into the back room. "I got a nicely made set of Darkelf [sic] Chitin armor...for a hundred Drakes I'll trade it to you sans pauldrons and helmet. That stuff's pretty useless anyway. Won't score a lot of extra points at an armor fare. The cuirass is the important part, don't matter much what else you're wearing..." he rambled on as he rummaged around in his storage area. Finally he came back out and laid the yellowy-white armor on the counter. It wasn't new, but it wasn't damaged.
"Hmmm whatcha say?" he asked, right after squishing a fly that had buzzed onto his forehead.
Suran, Desele's - Llevana & Llela
"Yeah...and we don't have a cartload to hold out against her." Llevana blew the air out of her lungs through her mouth. "Maybe we should pull the same thing I pulled in Cheydinhal. Set up a poster promising adventures and riches...and thus make people fight for us. I'd rather be honest, but no one's likely to join in on our fight against a psychopathic bounty hunter willingly."
Suran, Desele's - Alindrel
Promptly as the thought that no one was around to listen crossed the Altmer's mind, the waitress came around.
"Hope you had time to taste that, the way you devoured it. You shouldn't do that to food, it deserves better. Want 'nything else?"
Suran, on the way to the tradehouse
A small but sturdy Dunmer clad in tight leather armor bumped into Sinyail, fell, got up, apologized and went on his way, hoping that the stern-looking High Elf didn't notice that his purse had been replaced with a hole in his pocket.

Alindrel looked up, eyes lighting up.
"It deserves better? What has the food done to deserve anything? Did it save the town from bandits? That would be unusual. I mean, how would food even stop bandits?"

Arellius Afer III - Nerevar's Prowess
Arellius gave a short, low-pitched grunt in adieu to the Nord, allowing the bigger man's footsteps to fade into the raucous discordance created by all those working on the ship before approaching his pile of possessions and grabbing the war-axe.
"No way I'm lettin' ya've one o' these." He muttered huskily to himself before turning away and heading after the Nord.

Desele's - Waitress
"HEY YOU WANT 'NYTHING TO EAT OR DRINK?" the young waitress barked across the room. The question was directed at Frondus. She turned her attention back to Alindrel.
"It was a joke, sweetheart. I don't get paid to tell those, so consider yourself lucky. Now, do you want more or not?"
Nerervar's Prowess - Gudrun
Gudrun saw Per dragging his feet towards her. She crossed her arms and gave him one of her huge grins.
"Long time no talk, big boy. How's it hangin'?"
Meanwhile, the crew had started gathering around her. Gudrun didn't wait for a reply from Per, and raised her voice so that everyone could hear her.
"Here's the deal, folks!" she began, putting all of her confidence into her voice. It wasn't fake, either. The more she spoke, the more she re-affirmed her self-trust. "We're almost there! Soon the sailorwork will be over, and we'll have good, hard ground under our feet. I know I'm looking forward to it. And with a little luck, we'll have found our two lovebirds within a couple of days." She smiled at Per mischievously. "I know you in particular are looking forward to seing your friends again. It'll be a grand reunion, I promise you." Again, she didn't wait for a reply. At first she had planned on letting the Nord in on her plans, but then she had decided that it was too risky. The chance of him somehow finding the strength and will to cross her was just as big as the chance of him being even more intimidated. Better to have it all come as a shock, firsthand.

"I was just pondering that subject when you showed up," Alindrel chirped. "And I have yet to reach a conclusion. Something says yes, but another something says no, and I'm not sure which something says which, and until I discern which something disagrees with which something, something tells me that I won't decide on something before the something's agree."
She blinked and smiled at the waitress.

Desele's - Waitress
The waitress blinked, tilted her head back and raised her eyebrows. "I see. Well, I'll leave you to it, seeing as I've got other customers to yell at. I'll be back in a bit." She pressed her lips together and turned on her heels in order to make her way towards Katien and Frondus.
"Hey, didn't ya hear me?" she barked.

Arellius Afer III - Nerevar's Prowess
Arellius arrived on deck just as Gudrun was finishing up her speech, taking his position beside her and folding his arms. Per's war-axe now hung at his right hip next to the tanto. The ebony shortsword hung from his left hip.
He wasn't particularly interested in what his fellow mercenary had to say. He knew the plan, or at least he thought he did.
What Arellius was thinking about at that moment was the newly claimed war-axe that hung at his waist. He'd never used a war-axe before but he'd used plenty of blades. He guessed the axe would require more hacking compared to his blade which usually required more slashing. Though as he put more thought into the matter he realised that they were essentially the same downward motions, perhaps you angled the axe differently but, he concluded, if you were to hit someone in the face with it, regardless of the angle, it was going to hurt.
Lost in his thoughts of hacking and cleaving and chopping and mutilating he failed to take in the remainder of Gudrun's speech and consequently of that didn't ask any questions.

"Eh, yeah," mumbled Per. He knew Gudrun wasn't stupid, but playing along with her plan for now couldn't hurt. Maybe he'd catch her off-guard later on.
"What makes you think I wanna see those ash-faces again? See this scar?" he pointed to his face. "That'd never had happened if it weren't for them. Then they leave me to babysit a deranged vampire for weeks."
He sighed pointedly, worried he was over-doing his lie. He had always been a horrible liar. "And now I'm being held here against my will because of them. I just wanna know if I'm free to go after I help you."
He gave Gudrun a pleading look.

Re: Tamrielic Adventures: Vol. 2
Spoiler:
Valentia approached the temple with quill and book and hand. She jotted down a rough sketch of the building, intending to do a better one later for the final draft of her book. She didn't know the building's purpose since she had only been in Morrowind for a few weeks, and she was still very unfamiliar with the different cultural aspects and differences in architecture.
Humming to herself, she turned and looked around for any sort of tavern. The look of the buildings so different than the ones she was used to utterly confounded her; she was lost, and she couldn't deny it.

Frondus smirked, shaking his head slightly. "Well...t-they sound like pretty bad guides, then. Hope you didn't pay them much.." He rubbed the back of his neck, and looked back to her. "I came here because I've been, uh..documenting d-different types of plant life in Tamriel.. y-you know, Nirnroot, Ash Yarn, Aloe Vera..just boring old research." The Nord frowned slightly, and looked over to the waitress, who he had left waiting for an answer for a while.
"Um..just mead, please."

Suran, Smithy
After roughly 4 hours of counting and re-counting and checking the counting of Drakes, Aenar got the Chitin Armor ™ set helmetandpouldronsnotincluded. It was safely tucked into his inventory. He lost 100 Drakes. Obviously.
Suran, Desele's - Llevana & Llela
"Yep. Except if we get kicked out of town for 'trying to instigate a riot' or something," Llevana said. "Let's get started after we've eaten."
Nerevar's Prowess
Gudrun smirked. "Whatever you say, big boy," she said, leaving the question of whether she had fallen for the act open. "As for leaving...sure, why not? If you're still alive and in posession of your legs after we're done."
Suran, Desele's - The Waitress
"Mead ain't a thing here, Nord," the waitress said to Frondus. "We got Matze, Sujamma, Cyrodiilic Brandy, Flin, Greef, Shein, and our 'special mix'. Take your pick. And tell your friend to open...its mouth. Not sure if it's a girl or a boy. Ugh, kids these days." Funnily enough, the snarky waitress looked barely 20 herself.
Suran, Temple Exterior
"Quit starin', outlander!" a passerby clad in a cheap, green robe snapped at Valentia.
