I want to improve my skills on the harmonium and learn how to play the tapas, which is an Indian drum. I want to be part of a kirtan wallah (kirtan band), playing devotional chants. I have several options but I've decided to go to a kirtan camp to learn more. Its all in the works, but its very exciting getting ideas and seeing doors open for this possibility. I know quite a few chants already I can pick up with the harmonium. I really want to buy one of my own but they are hundreds of dollars.
This is awesome man! Gotta follow your dreams, ya know? It's what keeps you going, and with enough passion, it's only down to how you approach it.

Little Wing will be a fun song to play once I have it mastered. Only issue I see with it, is I have to make some complex patterns quickly on some parts. The solo is something I can't wait to play though. I'm actually starting it as we speak though.

Newest musical project: The Smiths - This Charming man. I can already play all the guitar parts. Just trying to sing it as well. I can get some of it but other parts... This is very hard...
At the moment I am trying to teach myself the electric guitar. I actually only purchased an electric guitar over the weekend, my first instrument I have played since primary school (which was over 10 years ago now ). So far I have only practiced a few times, but I feel like I am (very slowly) improving.

Your first few weeks are basically learning the basics, while building up calluses so the strings don't hurt. After that, it's endurance while getting a firmer grasp on the basics. Thankfully, there are lessons for reading tabs and stuff if you get lost. Good luck! And it's a fun journey, let me tell you. = )

My cousin has given me his old electronic keyboard. It's nothing fancy or expensive though. I'll definitely try to teach myself how to play this. The only thing is, I've no idea where to start. The only musical instrument I know how to play is the harmonica and I've had someone teach me how to play it.

Thanks Fiar! It's been really enjoyable so far, and I am wishing I had taken it up sooner.

I'd be disappointed if you didn't show us.
