Hope Falls

Tonight. The thought of it made Séverine both very excited and very nervous. Excited that after they'd returned to the room they'd both rented she'd get a chance to [&@%!] the brains out of a woman she realized that she was beginning to develop deep feelings for. Nervous that she wouldn't do a good a job [&@%!] Paula's brains out as her girlfriend hoped or expected she would.

She made an attempt to swallow her nerves, bundling it up and storing it away next to it's old friend and familiar ally guilt. Guilt that she was forgetting about Jeane so soon. Guilt that she was moving on too quickly. She did not allow any of this emotion to show on the outside however, her index finger slowly racing circles around the red blotch on her girlfriend's collarbone, her head resting in on the other woman's shoulder.

She returned the kiss to the left of he other woman's mouth before speaking.

"I've never actually given a one before." She admitted in a low tone, adding hicky's to the list of new things that she would be attempting for the first time that night.

Baruch took some of the food and put it on his plate, he was excited to try Chinese food for the first time.

"Yeah, I know it is not smart to go in blind, but being in the Marines, I went in a few areas blind." Damien said. "I think that we should talk to some other people and see if we can get more recruits, but as it is getting later, I am going to head home. Thank you for talking to me. I will contact you soon."

Damien walked back to where Mary, Kelly, and Barry were but noticed that Kelly and Barry were gone.

"You guess you can't?" Adam sighed as the medication began to take effect, half expecting some snappy comeback, "Well back to what I was saying, I don't know how you people deal with the combination of boredom a bat-[&@%!] crazy this town has to deal with."

"Can I have a sip?" Karina asked in a soft, submissive tone.

Séverine
"So I'll be your first?" Paula asked with a smile. She nuzzled up to Séverine's cheek.

Baruch
Kelly got some food and put it on her plate as well. She took a bite of beef.

Damien
"Hey Damien," Mary said. "Did you find anything out? You going on your hunt?"

Adam
"You sure it's the town that's crazy?" Ralph asked. "I don't see anybody else in town seeing things that aren't there. Maybe it's just you."

"Yeah," Séverine muttered softly, a heat rising in her cheeks as she dropped her hand onto her girlfriends lap and let it rest there. "You'll be my first for a lot of things."

"I feel honored," Paula said. "It's been a while for me, too, though, so don't expect it to be magnificent." Her hand went further up Séverine's leg. She wondered how far Séverine would let her get while in the truck.

"It's been over a year since.I've been with anyone, I'm sure it'll feel magnificent regardless." Séverine returned with a small smile, a smile which grew progressively bigger as she watched the hand creep up her leg in the direction of crouch.

"Do you not think you'll be able to last even a few more hours?" She asked softly, in a quiet tone for fear that they might excite Marty again. The hand not already on her girlfriend's lap came out and rested on the one upon her own lap.

"Hey Mary." Damien replied. "Not sure what we are going to do. Michael thinks it is a good idea, but with no one really knowing where the Goat Man is, it might be a tough thing to find."

Looking around, he noticed Barry and Kelly were gone.

"Do you want to go grab lunch?"

Derek was annoyed with Karina's sullen attitude but he figured she would likely relax again once her mind was on something else. He took the lemonade back, put his arm around her again and said. "Well I suppose we should get going again." He would hold on to the lemonade for now but wasn't terribly interested in drinking it if he was going to be the only one enjoying it.

Paula's upward motion stopped. She flipped her hand over and entwined her fingers with Séverine's. "I can wait," she whispered back. "What are we going to be shopping for?"

"I guess so," Mary said. "What do you feel like eating?"

It's ok, Kelly said. It helps to be able to read minds, of course.

"Ok," Karina said, putting her arms around Derek's middle. She began walking with him again.
