Their accent sounds very Spanish to me. Like Antonio Banderas.

Yeah, I had a little bit of a chuckle to myself the first time I spoke to one, too.

The beast races in this game were defiantly, (and disappointingly) under utilized. I can count the number of Argonians I've met on one hand, I really hope the next game takes place in either Elsweyr or Black March because IMO they are the two most interesting sounding places beside Summerset.

It does make sense though. As an Argonian or Khajiit, why would you go to a land that most of the population despises you.

He actually wrote the outline for most of the lore post-Daggerfall, with some contributions from Kurt Kuhlmann and Todd Howard, who still work with Bethesda. Kuhlmann was the main story writer for Skyrim and said he borrowed heavily from the First Pocket Guide's chapter on Skyrim when he was designing the people, places and lore for TES V.

For reference, this is the document in question, this is the chapter on Skyrim and this is Kuhlmann's forum post on the subject:

"We all try not to take it to heart that only MK can save Skyrim from the trash heap - but I can say that even without directly writing any books, I'd say there's more of his influence on Skyrim than Oblivion. Probably a lot more - if you look at the chapter from the PGE on Skyrim, (pretty sure that was one of his - I can't remember any more who wrote which one, it's Bilbo and Strider all over again), and that chapter is the foundation for the whole setting. And if you look really hard, you might even find a painted cow. (No comment on flying whales.)"

As for the Khajiit in Skyrim, they're being treated about how you'd expect them to be treated by a culture like Skyrim when it's riled up with anti-foreigner sentiment. Especially the trade caravans.
Monsters are bred in labyrinths, labyrinths are bred from walls. There is a reason the Giants choose to remain nomadic rather than follow their shield kin the Nords in building permanent settlements. The Tower is the beginning of all walls.

Why would they go to a land that most of the population either hated you, tortured you, or enslaved you? Yet they still appeared in Morrowind.

Most of the Argonian and Khajiit NPCs are slaves, escaped slaves or bandits. Sure there are a few present in the guilds, but Morrowind did have a lot more more NPCs than Skyrim, thus resulting in more chances for the beast races.

Morrowinds closer to both Black Marsh (borders it) and Elsweyr. it took slaves from both of em easily. :P

@Pilaf the Defiler : i know about him, i said Bethesda takes most stories from him. like i said, never been a fan of most of his stuff, which is probably why i enjoyed Oblivion the most since it got the least amount of work from him.

and about the Khajiit, i suppose it makes sense for there not being many of them in Skyrim. but i still think that they were underused, with their voice acting and new appearance its a waste not to use them. same with Argonians, well ... their voices were less good.. :S
