Are you going to tell us where everyone else is starting before the RP begins? My location was given away in the PM sent out and I'm quite interested to see who my characters first interactions will be with (though looking at the sheets I can't see there being many others siding with the bad guys.)

Also, keep your eyes peeled: I may not be able to proceed as planned, as me and my family are moving houses sometime after the 25th. It's pretty far out, and I don't know how things will be internet-wise. Plus a move is a lot of work and time. So depending on how things go, I'll have to think of something.

I hate to do the whole floaty-RP-member-who-isn't-sure-if-he's-in-or-out thing, but I'm not sure what the future looks like for me as far as working on my own stuff, so unless you don't really need a solid confirmation soon, I might just sit this one out. Sorry about that.

A question for the players:

It looks like everyone except Velvet is starting out in Suran. The way I've written things to kick off is going to make things really chaotic during the beginning, and I'm afraid that a lot of players will feel lost and won't post much as a result. Do you want me to post a prelude before the starting date, so that your characters can walk around, get a proper introduction and so forth, before the action starts?

It'll be coming into exam season for me when this RP starts. I wouldn't mind you having character development time with the group whilst I only need to post sporadicly on the ship. Actually I'd appreciate it.

Prelude

Nerevar's Prowess - Open sea

Gudrun could definitely make out the brown landscape of Vvardenfell in the distance. It was about time. Supplies were running short, and she had a vague, uneasy feeling, something she wasn't used to at all. She had to keep herself hard and composed. Suran was two days off, at the most. The storm may have shaken them, but it had also gotten them forward faster than expected.

"Arellius," she called. Her best man wasn't standing far off, and she would need him if she were to keep the ship under her control.


Suran

The stone town radiated warmth as always when the sun shone. It was just a regular day, for everyone. Llevana and Llela were sitting around in Desele's, enjoying a lazy day off. They had lived themselves into the town over the last few weeks. They were just another duo of adventurers who sold their humble to the merchants weekly. They kept their profiles low. Most everyone who lived in the town knew them, but no one knew them.

Around them, the town was bustling with activity. An unusual amount of travelers had been passing through recently. Their relevance to the grand scheme of things was yet unkown to them as they went about their individual activities.

Hidden:

Okay everyone. It's pretty straightforward: do whatever you want to do, talk to other players, NPCs, go into shops, describe your characters...whatever you wanna do.

If you're not familiar with Suran, here are the places of interest:

In the upper part of town:

The Silt Strider Dock on the northern wall.
The Guard tower on the north end of the west wall.
Desele's House of Earthly Delights in the middle of town, an inn.
Ranosa Gilvayn: Outfiteer on the opposite side of the street.
Goldyn Beleram: Pawnbroke a bit down the central town square, on the east side.
Garthomuk gro-Muzgub: Smith a bit further down, on the west side.
The Slave Market in a side alley behind the Pawnbroker's.


In the lower part of town:
Verana Rendo: Clothier on the leftmost side of the lower part of town.
Ralds Oril: Trader next door.
One set of stairs up from the main street we have the Suran Tradehouse behind the Clothier and the Apothecary behind Oril's.
In the southernmost part we have the Tribunal Temple.
In the southwest corner is Oran Manor.
