If you know how to build proper fences, animals won't be able to glitch through. Another tip is trap doors, mobs refuse to go past them. Make a small ditch with trap doors around the rim, it may not be pretty but it works. Same can apply for doorways >_> keeps animals from invading

I don't think I deserve such grace.. but I do know alot of tricks in the game. There is a design for a doorway that will kill any mob that tries to enter>_> keeps you creeper safe and uses no redstone, just water and some blocks. Added benefit is free rotten flesh

Daw>_< I was going to upload 2 pictures here from my world.. but my minecraft and facebook can't seem to get along...
It was about two different circuits of redstone. One being a simple piston repeater but on a large scale, perfect for instant melon farming
The other was alot more complex but packed in. Lots of torches reversing portions and so on.. it activated pistons that release hidden lava around a building... daw but it's so much more complex than it sounds>_< uses nearly 200 pistons all packed together.. Sadface

Well I'm on xbox's minecraft. Unless I either fix the issue or take a horrible pic with my phone, they are forever trapped>_<
Alot of stuff I learned about redstone I got from a friend who is miles ahead of me. He was suppose to teach me how to build a real time clock that keeps track with the real world via seconds, minutes, and hours. Kind of cool being able to see what time it really is in-game, and can easily convert into a timer>_> though easier I believe. I ended up learning most from messing around, but like a good teacher he showed me the ropes

If it's on the server, you get a random hat. But if both the client and server have it installed, you get to choose from a bunch of different hats. It's a nice little goofy idea, if you want it.
