Jack Swagger beats Alberto Del Rio.

And I'm not as confident as last year, but I refuse to lose faith in the Great One.

The Rock beats John Cena to remain WWE Champion. Even if the Rock cheats to win.

I knew he was going to win. That way the Rock can leave. Also, Nate, you pretty predicted the winner of every match, but the explanations were off.

Just managed to watch WM29. The whole show was...pretty average I guess with the Undertaker stealing the show (again). Triple H vs. Brock would've been better if Trips bled. The Rock vs Cena was ruined by the reeeeally predictable ending and the overkill of finishers. Taker vs. Punk at least delivered in spades. WWE's second best match of the year (behind Punk vs. Cena on Raw last February).

Guess CM Punk is taking a time-off. I kinda like the way they've turned Ryback into heel. Ryback just sitting back and watching Cena get beaten-up by the Shield so Cena can feel what he felt when Cena never helped him. In a way, it doesn't make him into that cowardly heel that they usually feed to Cena.

I'm not sure with Triple H vs. Brock III though. How are they gonna make this bigger after they've had Triple H put his career on the line in their last match?

Anybody own WWE 13? Is it worth getting? I really do enjoy wrestling games, and I currently do not own one. My only hesitation is the gameplay. I read alot of negative things about glitches and lack of fluidity.

I played the hell out of the first few titles in that series (the HELL) but after the Attitude Era ended, Yukes' WWE games went downhill right along with the rest of the franchise. I think the last Yuke's I played and really enjoyed was Smackdown vs Raw (the first one).

So a few quick questions:

1. Do they have mixed gender matches again? Or are divas still second-class citizens? This was probably my biggest pet peeve about the WWE titles from about '05 on - the fact that they started placing artificial restrictions on what matches female wrestlers could participate in. If Rainbow Dash can't take the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from John Cena in a 1v1 Hell in a Cell match, then [&@%!] it, I'll pass.

2. How's the CaW? Does it still have tons of options, or did they pull a Skyrim and dumb down the player creativity? CaW was by far my favorite feature of the WWE series; I spent more time making wrestlers than actually playing as them.

3. What other create modes are available? Can I create moves, intros, or matches?

4. The Attitude Era stuff, how substantial is it? What wrestlers are featured? And can I use these wrestlers freely in other modes and match types?

4. The Attitude Era mode is fantastic. If your even relatively well-versed in this era in wrestling, you should find much excitement over it. It starts in 1997 and ends in 1999. Matches from Raw and virtually every memorable ppv at the time is playable and told in succession. The mode is broken into different chapters based on each wrestler(Austin) or faction(DX). After completing one chapter you continue to the next. It also provides insight on how the real-life TV Ratings were going in comparison to WCW Nitro at the time of each match/event.

Wrestlers are available in all modes once unlocked through playing and completing of Attitude Era Mode. As soon as you unlock them in their respective matches, they are available for use online, and all single player modes. Some Attitude Era wrestlers(all in their character of 97-99) featured that are worthy of noting are:

Do you still have the game? Is there any way you could check, next time you're playing it? Whether they let you use divas in any match type would be the deciding factor for me right now.

It's kind of funny. It used to be that divas were just eye candy. Then the WWE got a pack of girls who could actually wrestle, like Trish Stratus, Amy Dumas, even Chyna. Girls who had some talent, and who could hold their own in legit storylines.

So what happened? As soon as the Attitude Era ended, they decided that, from now on, divas wouldn't just be eye candy. Now, they'd be eye candy AND get put on a pedestal, where they couldn't get dirty or bother the men-folk. What. The [&@%!]. What makes this total scale back on divas even more baffling is that the WWE still has a ton of girls who can wrestle, like Bret Hart's niece, Natalya. Maybe this was Vince's idea of "progress"? Putting the women back on the ringside where they belong? More likely, it was the same reason why everything went downhill in the WWE after it won the franchise war: because there was no longer any corporate competition in the wrestling market, and the WWE didn't have to push boundaries to get ratings.

Why all that had to translate into the games, though, and why the Smackdown gaming community just sat back and let it happen, is beyond me. (you wanna have some trollific fun? Go to a WWE game community and ask why there are no divas allowed in normal matches) True, having actual female wrestlers isn't something that happens anymore in the real-life WWE. But a big fat man in a T-Rex mask named "Donkey Raper" winning the World Heavweight Title isn't something that happens in the WWE, either, yet Yukes still lets us do it. Why? Because it's a game. It's about giving players choices and options, not throwing up artificial boundaries and stomping on our fun. If they really wanted to make a true-to-life wrestling simulator, then it'd be [&@%!] boring; every match would end with John Cena winning, and unless you made a dude who looked real handsome, stood over 6'5", and fought like a brain-damaged walrus, your CaW could never aspire to be anything more than being a midcard jobber.

The Attitude Era goes longer in real life, but in the game, i don't recall any matches from 2000.

Y2J is in the game. Both versions, today and back then.

Awww, no Hardys? Crap on a camel clutch. They include Matt and Jeff's moveset, though, right? My main OC always has Hardy style Moonsaults and Swanton Bombs.
