Also, Orcs are still considered enemies of both Hammerfell and High Rock, right, particularly those of (Nova) Orsinium?

Apparently so, early in the 4th era orsinium was sacked by the Bretons and Redguards and were thought to be eliminated. But also apparently, the legion walked some refugees into skyrim.

I'm starting to think the next DLC is NOT Redguard. It's been three months since this thread started and we have head no word on this from Bethesda. I thought we would have heard something by now.

They said it wouldn't be the next DLC, somewhere. There's supposed to be at least one before then.

All Bethesda has said is that they haven't announced anything, they have ideas, and we should expect Skyrim news in 2013.

PC already has the full patch. It's been out on Steam for awhile. Not the beta, the full patch.

I'm looking forward to whatever can be dissected from 1.9.

EDIT: I'm talking about on the PC, of course. Hacking either console would be illegal, to the best of my knowledge..

There won't be any DLC files found within the consoles 1.9 patch. That's actually impossible. Unless you just mean that consoles having 1.9 means Skyrim news.

Nothing. PC players are the only people who can search for the files and there is nothing in 1.9.

Patches that add new content and/or fix a list of bugs do not contain DLC files.

Not to start an argument, but you're actually (at least partially) wrong:

Patch 1.6 added mounted combat, and it also had files embedded pertaining directly to Dawnguard, including locations and "Dawnguard Quests Completed" under players' menus.

I'm not sure what you mean then. There are no new things in the recent patch. Maybe next time.

Idk what I mean either. I guess I have a feeling that they'll announce something the same time the patch is released. Idk.

Those are separate patches. Not sure what you're looking at there.. but they were released a few weeks apart on Steam.

Point one out to me then. Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn's files were found in fairly insignificant patches when it came to bug fixes or free content.

I'm not sure what you're really arguing about; all I stated was that I can't wait to find out if anyone's found any new DLC content within 1.9's coding. I've shown well-enough that such coding has existed in major patches before, thereby leading me to reasonably wonder if the same has been repeated. If you have an actual problem with my question, at this point, please feel free to PM me; otherwise, I'm not going to sit here and argue over something trivial.

Getting back on topic, I wonder if Bethesda will add any new mounts. Dragonstar is part of Hammerfell, which is one giant desert; maybe they'll have camels or something similar?

I'm just saying the current version patch is not going to show anything. 1.9.something may, perhaps, show something should another patch be released shortly.

I haven't heard any news of this, but the first thing that came to my mind was a remake of Redguard. I don't think they'd make any DLC pertaining to Hammerfell, but you never know.

Giant snakes would be fun. Would add some humorous weight to what Hadvar says at the beginning of the game upon killing the frostbite spiders, albeit indirectly.

But can we confirm the latest patch has nothing of particular interest, in as far as future DLC's go?

Ten bucks that there will be giant scorpions. I wonder if they will be like the ones in Fallout....

I don't think Redguard will be the next DLC as we would have had some hints by now. Either by Bethesda or via hidden code in the patch. That said, they did say that they would do one big expansion for Skyrim, i think so they could be very busy working on it and plan on revealing it at E3. I wonder if they plan on the Dovahkiin becoming the World Eater? As it seems logical for Akatosh to choose the Last Dragonborn to act as the new World Eater when the time comes

Didn't they promise to release minor DLC inbetween the major ones?
