I specifically reworked my character as a [former] traveling scholar (he's an old sheet that was going to be used in a Synod v College of Whispers RP, that didn't happen), so I'm fine either way

I was told to be stubborn, so I plan to be:
Hidden:
Name:Marcus Brolus
Race:Imperial
Age:18
Physical Description:Average build, for an Imperial. Brown eyes. Thinner eyebrows(but not too thin), clean shaven.
Personality:Laid back, extremely naive. Knows when to be serious and takes the words of those older then him as law.
Class / Profession:Soilder
Weapons / Equipment:Steel Longsword and bow, 20 steel arrows
Clothing / Armor:Light guard like armor and shield, chainmail hat, gauntlets, and boots.
One Major Skill:Blade
Two Minor Skills:Destruction, Light Armor
Background:Marcus grew up on a small farm in the Colovian part of Cyrodill. His mother was a member of no renown who was a member of the Mages Guild in Cyrodill. His father was a Blade. He always spoke about how he met Martin Septim himself, but Marcus always assumed that was just a story to impress him. Between spending his time doing chores and helping with the crops, Marcus' mother taught him how to use magicka to start fires. When Marcus grew to the age of fifteen, told his parents that he would set out on his own in the world. He left in a set of patchwork leather with a rust iron shortsword and never looked back. Sadly, there is not much food in holding a sword and walking away, so Marcus joined in a bandit group, that eventually came under the control of one Titus Mede's more legal Sargents. He only fought in one real fight, near the Colovian border. He tried as much as he could to rain down spells on the men with only letting the others actually do the killing. When a soldier broke into the group he was fighting with, he slashed him in the throat watching him die. As Marcus watched the man die, sadly, he took an arrow to the shoulder. Losing consciousnesses until the others had long left him to be food for the buzzards. He limped to the road, on the brink of death, when a traveling merchant found him. The Merchant took Marcus to the Imperial City to reseave medical attention.
Relationships (with NPCs or other PCs):Father:Claudius, Mother:Renalda
You are in the Imperial City because…It was the nearest city from the skirmish, afterwards he decided to stay until he was fit to leave.
Bonus detail (any detail) about your character:Likes Sweetrolls, and if anyone stole them, it was probably him.

I reworked my character sheet to account for the dissolution of the Mages Guild, but kept it pretty vague.

Note: I have made a few minor changes to my character, most notably the name. I did not like the original one. He is know called Praestigiae which means "spectre" in Latin.
Strictly speaking, a tomato isn't a vegetable. It's actually a kind of dolphin

Everyone should be on the OP and Pillow's name change should be accounted for. If anyone sees anything missing, let me know.

I'm going to go back and use the second post under the OP to populate with some information for everyone regarding the CoC, guild leaders, and some general people of the time period who you would likely be familiar with. (And I'll put up ye olde RP rules, but I'm sure you all know the drill by now.) If anyone has any specific questions about characters, events, or happenings, just let me know so I can answer them. :D

Tauryon's Daedric dagger is actually Mehrune's Razor. I told you that, right? I'm sure I did.

Quick question about the skills. Is it like RoF where our Major skill starts at journeyman level and our two main skills at Apprentice or is it different?

If it's like RoF can I please start Alchemy off at Expert instead if Journey man and knock shortblade down to Novice. I feel it would suit my character better seeing as he's supposed to be an Expert Alchemist. (Hope this doesn't start a flood of similar requests.)

But Karona is the chosen one! She is destined to lead the rabbits of Caenborg(i keep forgetting what it is actually called) to the promised land and establish the new empire of the rabbits that will last a thousand years. You can't take that away from her, think of the rabbits! WHAT ABOUT THE RABBITS!? :P  How about Not Wabberjack but Wabberjack's cousin? As you didn't say that we couldn't include the cousins of special weapons or artifacts. 8) :P

Also, let's stop spamming up this thread. This is my last non-RP critical post.

I was thinking exactly like that, major at Journeyman (so around level 50) and the two minor skills at Apprentice. Everyone will get the chance to choose one Expert skill later on; no one can start with any. At age 23 I doubt your character could really become an "expert" anyway. :P

And no Daedric artifacts gosh darn it! You don't want to mess with the gods. They'll mess with you enough as is.

Edit: Vote if you want to start in two different towns or all together in one chaotic Imperial City chaos!

I'd say the chaos, Avron.

Always the chaos. Besides, it's a big city. You could have one group in the Elven Gardens and another by the University, for example.
Because there's no fun to be found in being normal.

Chaos will probably see a lot more people drop out as they fail to deal with the chaos. So I voted foe the other option.

Can't we be in two groups in the IC?

Oh, I *do* imagine we could be in two groups, and I imagine we WILL be--perhaps even in smaller groups--but to my simple mind, it seems...easier, to start as a group. Everyone gets acquainted with one another, so when the groups depart and reconverge, there's no hassle of "now just who are you?". Unless someone else joins in partway through the RP.
