Re: What prominent figures came to your wedding?
On the current play through, I ended up getting married early on due to not wanting to lose Jenassa and not wanting to take her on a brief quest line that would potentially be fatal to her. So I only had Lydia and Lucan Valerius at my wedding.
I think my first wedding, a Nord tank married Mjoll and the place was full. But I was new at the whole thing and didn't even think to pay attention to attendees. I know the place was rather full and I'm pretty sure Ulfric was there. Otherwise, no idea.
I think the only other time I married anyone was when I married Ysolda. I was heavily under the influence when this happened and I honestly have no recollection of the event. In fact, I woke up the next day and thought I had dreamed the whole thing.....nope. That mead took another strong man down.

Re: What prominent figures came to your wedding?
When I married Enthir, Phinis Gestor showed up and sat on his side, which made me wonder if they were flagged as friends. I still don't know. Grandma Bothela, Lydia, and Lisbet (oh yeah, you) showed up. When I left the city gate, a dragon spawned and my wedding party (minus Lydia, who'd disappeared), a couple guards, and the stable workers helped take it down. Even Shadr survived. Great reception.

He was a great wedding guest. Shame we didn't have a reception, he would have been the highlight of the party...

Alduin, Avron the S'wit, Ulfric's ghost, Odahviing, the many ghosts of bandits, the entire Thalmor embassy, the dreaded sweetroll thief of Skyrim, Darth Vader, Sheogorath's beard, Tiber Septim and Lydia.
Joking aside, i suspect Runa will end up having a lot of guests at her wedding when she eventually marries Brelyna as i suspect she will end up doing a lot of side quests before joining the COW.

The City Guards. I changed my mind and killed my fiancee at the altar because I realised there was no romance in the relationship and she was nothing but a scheming gold-digger who probably had it in for me. "It was self-defence, guys! I mean, she DID agree to marry me, a total stranger, 5 seconds after meeting me just because she liked my expensive shiny Amulet of Mara. Oh, and I'm Thane, so bog off and guard something, willya?"

Re: What prominent figures came to your wedding?
My female Breton married Roggi Knot-Beard from Kynesgrove. The guests were:
1) Jenassa - her current follower, and actively following her at the time.
2) Sven - her ex-follower, and also Steward of her Falkreath home.
3) Argis the Bulwark - Housecarl of Markarth.
4) Silus Vesuius! That creep with the Mythic Dawn museum in Dawnstar! Believe me, if I'd played Oblivion before playing Skyrim, he would not have lived! And then he had the cheek to turn up at my character's wedding! She's the Archmage and a Companion, and has done quests for people all over Skyrim, and that's who the game decided was her best friend. ARGH!
Do you always only get three guests plus whoever your follower is? I tried getting married at different times of day to see if anyone else turned up, but it was always the same. The game must have decided who the guests would be when I spoke to Maramal.

@ sinstodark, regarding Kill Bill:
Although the point is lost on many, the Kill Bill movies are among the ultimate "chick flicks". All about motherhood and feminine retribution in a man's world.
They are great movies.

Re: What prominent figures came to your wedding?
I ended up attending my own wedding twice...somehow.
Suffice to say that Brelyna and I were shocked when my doppelganger was there to congratulate her and himself.
On the other hand I got to hear how my voice apparently sounds!

Re: What prominent figures came to your wedding?
I just got married to Jennesa. We had Sven (my steward), Lydia (my housecarl), Uthgerd (my current follower), and Carlotta Valentina. I may not have had many famous people, but I was happy that some people who should be my friends came. The wedding went of without a hitch, and we moved to my Hearthfire house. We then adopted two kids.

Re: What prominent figures came to your wedding?
I married Lydia the other day and no one overly important came, but I think it was very sweet that my friends from Riverwood (my favorite in game town as well) and my adopted daughter showed up. Seems appropriate to me that a wedding ought to be between friends and not necessarily have the flair of a Thalmor party.
Unless you want to count that dead dragon corpse that's been following me for days...then it was quite a smash.

Re: What prominent figures came to your wedding?
Here's some photos from my latest wedding!

So I have an Argonian skooma addict that my corrupt Khajiit merchant only gave a healing potion to in order to find out about the local skooma-dealers so he could kill the competition and steal their stock, a cannibal, and the woman who lives in his basement.
And on the other side?

Poor Sapphire. I know the Thieves Guild is a business organisation, but surely you'd think at least one of the rotten lot would turn up for her!

Re: What prominent figures came to your wedding?
I've never had anybody notable show up to a wedding, even though I've remade my Argonian about 5 times and kept track of most of her wedding guests. I think the ones that stands out most to me is Degaine, who came all the way to Riften from Markarth all because I gave him a gold coin. ^_^ Next time I restart my character *whenever I can afford to get the Legendary Edition of Skyrim* I'm probably going to do a few more quests before I get married and see if I can get anybody fun. So far I've had Degaine, Lydia, Adrianne, Severio Pelagia, Marcurio, and Erik, though not all at once. Some of them have been guests at more than one instance of the Nura/Angrenor wedding.

I married Sylgja, and I was pumped that both her parents showed up. Not because they approved of the wedding, but because they actually were programmed to attend their daughter's wedding. lol

Re: What prominent figures came to your wedding?
I decided to get my main character married after 40 hours of playing hoping I would get some cool or strange guests -- and also for the sake of getting the achievement. Since my character has done more than 50 miscellaneous quests and around 15 side quests I was expecting something interesting. I ended up with Lydia, Farengar (which I don't quite understand), and a strange Bosmer hunter called Naemus who I can't find a speck of info on. If anyone knows who he is or where he came from...
the ending of the words is ALMSIVI.

Re: What prominent figures came to your wedding?
So, a bit of an old thread, but I don't see the point in starting a new one when this thread still exists.
Martin married Argis the Bulwark and had the following guests at his wedding:
1) Jarl Kraldar of Winterhold, who he helped to put on the throne by giving Winterhold to the Imperials in Season Unending. Quite appropriate, I feel.
2) Bothela of The Hag's Cure in Markarth, a shop where he's spent a lot of money. Also, being from Markarth, perhaps she knows Argis as well. I'm sure Housecarls must do a certain amount of shopping on their Thane's behalf.
3) And, er, Brill, who hangs around with the Companions without actually being one. Martin's in the Companions, but hasn't progressed very far with the questline owing to not wanting the Gift of Hircine, so I presume they sent the least valuable person in Jorrvaskr.
Honestly, has anyone on Xbox 360 had more than 3 guests? (Not including a follower who isn't the person you're marrying).
