Anvils fall, everyone dies.

But yeah, I also think that two groups would be a good idea - I think we have almost as many people now as WotV did initially, if not as much or more. :o

So you would just kinda push the two groups of characters together until they chance upon each other?

WotV started with 27. We're nowhere near that.

I think everyone starting in the Imperial City is better. Takes less time to get them all together and you can still split them up or they can split themselves up. Still, it's all up to the GM. My character lives in the Imperial City so I know what group I'd be in if we are having two groups.
So we have come to solve every squabble in the village personally?

I have to think about it. I have five PMs now, so that's a total of 22 players, which can get a little chaotic. The goal is to make it as unchaotic as possible for both me as a DM and you guys as players. While some of you can sit down and happily keep up with 7 new pages a day, not everyone can, so I want to be as fair as possible so that everyone will be involved. Of course, naturally I hope you'd all keep that in mind and be polite yourself about letting everyone get a fair chance to post.
AddictedtoMorrowind wrote:So you would just kinda push the two groups of characters together until they chance upon each other?
No, you would get together rather organically. The only thing that is different is your change of scenery. There's a few things going on so it wouldn't be hard for you to cross paths fairly early on. I have to think about it, though; it's just a thought right now, given the size. I used to roleplay on forums where every area had its own thread, but you can't do that here on UESP, so the idea is just to make it as simple and easy to follow as possible.

Goldbrand, I'll review your character and give you some feedback later on today. :D

Wow, really? I only remembered something like 20, but I just checked the archives and you're right. Even if a quarter of those people barely stayed in the RP for more than half of Part 1.

Yeah, naturally people always drop out, which is why it's nice to have so many players in the beginning - but that's always the most chaotic part! :P

So then the groups just walk towards each other and cross paths? Would you create certain events to guide us in the right direction?

I have no idea what you're talking about...
Spoiler:
Name: Aelintha Tull
Race: Altmer
Age: 19
Physical Description: Aelintha is short for an Altmer, and her eyes are more turquoise than a pure green. Also, her eyes are slightly glazed over as she was born blind. She has shoulder-length, auburn hair and very ears with only a very faint point. She is, though, as long-limbed and thin as the usual Altmer.
Personality: Aelintha is a quiet person. Having never been able to see anything, she is not happy when forced to go to new places. Her family is moderately well off, and as such she has been able to learn some conjuration, and a quite astute sense of hearing. She is suspicious and slightly distrustful, but not inherently a bad person, though she never really says what she means. Has little or no regard for intimacy.
Class / Profession: Conjurer/"Thinker"
Weapons / Equipment: Nothing but her spells and clothing and a crooked stick used for navigational purposes..
Clothing / Armor: Iron cuirass and gauntlets beneath a deep red hooded robe, the hood normally tucked in an irregular lump in her neck.
One Major Skill: Conjuration
Two Minor Skills: Heavy Armour, Mercantile/Speech (Whatever system we're going by.)
Background: Aelintha is the child of a Breton shop-owner and an Altmer potion-maker, Aelintha is an only-child trained in conjuration and accounting, but fancying herself a philosopher. Her parents, owning an apothecary's business, wanted her to get the most of her life, and she is very good at calculating stuff in her head, getting around the obvious handicap of not being able to read or write. She hopes to continue her parents' busines, but would also settle for publishing her thoughts on stuff. She has always lived in the market district, and knows the path from her home to the Mercahnt's Inn by heart, but can't find her way anywhere else.
Relationships (with NPCs or other PCs): Father: Arild Tull. Mother: Linniel Tull.
You are in the Imperial City because… she lives there.
Bonus detail (any detail) about your character:Will add stuff as it happens.
Because there's no fun to be found in being normal.

Almost yeah, I'm planning on a bit of a personality re-vamp though, and making him a little more magical.

I have a feeling that Karona will play a few pranks on Aelintha when the party are resting in camp. Karona may end up coming off as a bit mean spirited to some characters due.

I wonder when the roleplay will start? I'm just curious before Avron decides to turn me into ashes for daring to question her.

Yes, April; says so right in the OP. 8)

I have quite a few sheets to review now, so if everyone would wait until later today or tomorrow, I will let you all know where you stand. Thanks!

Could I potentially join after the RP has started? I'd like to see how quickly or not it moves so I can decide whether I can stay in the RP until its end.

As much as some people are hoping for a slow rp, I'm hoping there will be a fair amount of posts per day. Sure you feel left out if you're gone for a day and there are ten new pages put up but if people are keeping it interesting I don't mind reading it. Personally I find it takes more effort to remember your character's mind set when only posting a handful of times a week.
