Take one quick look at the first post I ever made on this forum, dearie. I've changed since then, I'll admit: seeing as how I now have a signature at the bottom of my posts...
And you've changed...

Why are you still here then?
People in the wiki hate me. Something about me being an artist and they prefer accountants. The forum is my last refuge. I was editing articles on the wiki for nearly a year before I was forced to register— I wanted to stay anonymous in order to avoid the seduction of celebrity. But, I was clashing with the standing celebrities all too often. I felt obligated to give the wiki royalty a name they could curse me by. 'Dark Spark' so came to be.

Minutes after I registered as a member of the wiki, I decided to register on the UESP forum. A separate process, but in the same hour. And, as it turns out, a different path to walk.

I like this journey better.
...Beside, I'm just surprised about that coincidence. There is a reason we are members here.
As enthusiasts of the Dark Brotherhood, I assume. Then, it is actually one of two reasons, to be exact: 1) to pretend to be something we've ever wondered to experience; 2) to explore out something we've never dreamed to become.

Wanna know the big secret? I began with reason #2. But, if you go with it long enough, you'll start to wonder if it was reason #1 all along. So, be careful.

Are you sure that was the right link?
My favorite character had more fun than she should have had with "Caught in the Hunt".

Ooooh, she got tricked by a big, bad Orc usurer and got trapped on an island with murderous thrill-seekers hungry to kill her. Now, the only way to get out of this is to go into that dark, dank dungeon and try to take them out all by herself...

...a daunting task, unless you happen to be a killer more heartless and cruel than those three schmucks who have no idea that a Dark Brotherhood assassin is about to change the rules: first person to die will supply the intestines needed to hang the other two victims from the dungeon ceiling.
It sounds like you belong in this group. :)

And of course we are all experiencing the 'live another life in another world' thing. Or am I actually talking to serial killers?

My first character in Oblivion was a Breton healer.

That's ok. Corda in "Last Year of the First Era" was a priestess but also moonlighted as a morag tong assassin too.

Bretons all the way.
Spoiler:
1. What made you want to become an assassin for Sithis?
To be feared. Also to have a family.
2. Who is your favourite Skyrim sanctuary assassin?
Cicero then Veezara.
3. What do you make of Astrid?
Hated her. How dare she drop the old ways.
4. What are your feeelings toward Cicero?
Cicero is my buddy. I love him. Only part of the skyrim sanctuary that made me feel welcome.
5. Do you hate the Penitus Oculatus?
I have no love or hate towards them. As emotions tend to cloud your judgement.
6. Is there anything special you do when playing a Dark Brotherhood character (roleplaying-wise)?
I usually tend to leave a signature. Can be anything from leaving an arrow in the target's head to moving the target to a certain position and posing them.
7. What is your favourite Dark Brotherhood related quote?
"Dear Brother, I do not spread rumors. I create them."
8. What do you think would make a stronger Broherhood?
Loyalty.
9. Have you ever destroyed the Dark Brotherhood?
I? Never.
10. What did you do with the money you earned from the last main assssination? Did you lie to Nazzir?
I spent it on the upgrades. Leaving some piled around the Night Mother. No, I did not lie.

If you didn't kill amaund mirrored, do you think he should be the new emperor? How do you think it would impact the dark brotherhood?

No, because you have a choice to kill him. I killed him so it he became emperor then I'd be like "zombie king?". But yea he wouldn't. And if he did then we (DB) would eventually find out what his ancestor did and exact revenge.

No, I feel that to be a bad move, politically and economically.

He could be a powerful ally, and a wealthy customer.

He's a witness with eyes.

Sometimes, you need to make sure the client can never turn right around and point you out.

Bear mind that, in quasi-historical context, 'tis a smarter move for the usurper to kill the assassins they hired to kill the king.

Smart move is for us is to know when to shoot first.

True, but does he really know anything he could use against us?

Beside, that was how the Brotherhood retained power in the firstplace. Remember King Helseth (who still utilised the Brotherhood after the Neraverine assaulted their sanctuary in Mournhold)

That's not enough to take down the brotherhood. Unless he knows the location of the Dawnstar sanctuary, he can;t do anything.

And, assuming the Listener's only permanant residence is said sanctuary, that information is useless.

He of course, could say the Brotherhood murdered the Empower, but isn't that something we wanted, to be known and feared for such an act?

I'm not sure why the dark brotherhood would need to exact revenge on motierre. All Francois Motierre did was ask the dark brotherhood to stage his death.

On another note, I think amuad motierre should be emperor. It would be an advantage for the dark brotherhood. I believe he owes more than gold coin for the assassination of an emperor. With motierre as emperor, he could remove the penitus oculatus from skyrim and turn attention away from the dark brotherhood allowing the them to rebuild without any threats. Because of his lack of knowledge regarding the dark brotherhood and their location, there isn't much he can do against them if he ever decided to retaliate. Because he is an ally of the dark brotherhood, he could sanction the dark brotherhood like the morag tong in morrowind. I know that wouldn't be the most ideal thing for the dark brotherhood, but it is a possibility. We have been talking about the dark brotherhood reestablishing sanctuaries in cyrodiil, wouldn't it speed things along faster if someone allied with the dark brotherhood is emperor? now that emperor titus mede II is dead, motierre is in a perfect position to take over. With him as emperor, it would be easier for the dark brotherhood to rebuild sanctuaries in cyrodiil than if someone else not allied with the dark brotherhood was emperor.

Just my opinion.
