Bethy might have learned from their mistakes, but I doubt it. We'll probabley get somekind of something to go on in the patch.

Re: Redguard Rumors
Keep in mind that we got a patch involving files for a DLC (Dawnguard) shortly after we got a bug patch.
Ultimately the patch means nothing regarding future DLC and that $$ is really the relevant thing that points towards more content. I'm beginning to think we should look for a new trademark soon though instead of banking on Redguard.

Re: Redguard Rumors
I found an interview from February with Todd Howard on rockpapershotgun. Very interesting. I didn't see it posted here yet (if I missed it, sorry), but it does mention future DLC in a non-specific way. It's titled "Bethesda's Howard: People Discount Graphics".
Here's the relevant quote:
I've always liked the Redguards, so if this is Redguard-related DLC, I'll be very excited. I've also seen speculation that it might have something to do with Orsinium instead. It just so happens that Orsinium is right next to Skyrim and Hammerfell now...
Here's the relevant quote:
Since the interview was posted after all the other DLC already dropped, it seems like Beth does have something else brewing.... Howard openly (and completely non-shockingly) confirmed that Bethesda proper has something new in the works on top of Skyrim DLC ...

On the other hand, it also signifies that they are working on Skyrim DLC.

Fallout 4 and more DLC, nothing we didn't know was in the works already.

The quote clearly means though, that Bethesda is working on Skyrim DLC and a new project simultaneously.soda popinski wrote:

Re: Redguard Rumors
Once Bethesda finishes working on DLC, we can be sure they'll release a GOTY Edition in order to encourage more purchases. Until then, it's fairly safe to assume they're still working on Skyrim content.

Re: Redguard Rumors
Probably gonna wait until the GOTY edition is out and then I will finally get Skyrim on PC. I reckon there will be at least two more DLCs.

I don't think 2 is a long shot. 2 more $20 DLC's is probably a long shot, but there will be at least one more.

Re: Redguard Rumors
This is what I am hoping for. I want one big DLC that adds a new questline plus armor, weapons, and features. Then I want a small DLC that adds a castle for me to put all of my stuff in. I'm still not convinced Redguard is the next DLC though.ZackyZombify wrote:I can see two. Another big and another small.

Re: Redguard Rumors
I'm hoping for anything. Especially the house and weapons/armor. Which I'm sure will be in the big one.

Re: Redguard Rumors
In that case, will Redguard, if the rumours are accurate, be a 'big' DLC or a 'small' one? Similar scale to Dragonborn, I would assume?

Re: Redguard Rumors
I think small/medium. It's supposed to be only an island or city. I think they'll save a big dlc for something that connects to vanilla skyrim.

I'm not sold, but it's fairly well done if it's fake.

Re: Redguard Rumors
I believe it, we all know TES won't make a new game until the next gen consoles so we can expect another large scale dlc perhaps with another map... Explains the legend skills and unlimited level cap, letting players make use of every perk and switch there player up tons.. Keeping us busy and keeping the game fresh... Can't wait for the patch for the console...

Oh wow. I'm not sold either but now I feel sorry for Pete Hines as he will be bombarded with questions now.GodsBePraised wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KAE48m5crYg <- speculation about supposed leak.

Re: Redguard Rumors
Given the recent removal of the level cap, do you think we should expect new skills in the next DLC? They've certainly been eager to please the fans this time around, and the integration of spears/unarmed combat is frequently requested.

Re: Redguard Rumors
Could be. But things like that tend to snowball. If the fans (well not really fans) get what they want then they'll keep demanding. If they don't get it then they'll complain and keep demanding.
