Legendary Skills ?

Post by Mehra Milo »

From Bethblog
NEW FEATURES
Legendary difficulty setting
Legendary Skills – Skills of 100 can be made Legendary. This will reset the skill to 15, return its Perks and allow the skill to affect leveling again. This effectively removes the overall level cap.

What do you think about the 1.9 update and the removal of the level cap ?

I have not reached lvl 81 with any of my characters jet, so the level cap havn't been a problem for me yet.

But i am very curious about the Legendary skills.
If I for example have reached level 100 in Smithing and got all the perks on the heavy armor side off the skill tree, and then make it to a Legendary Skill. This will reset the skill to 15 and return its perks.
Will this mean that i can't create, for example, dwarven armor and weapon before i have used another skill point in dwarven smithing perk again ?

The 1.9 beta is available on Steam, so i hope that someone playing on PC can answer my question.

You're late to the party. There's already a few page long conversation about this. And I'm pretty sure we have a user, Mauin, that's at lvl 665-ish now. You should try reading it.

Edit: Just in case you have a hard time finding it, the topic is called "Bethesda Patch Discussion" at the top of Skyrim General.

Yes. You haven't got the perk for it, since it got returned to you.

Is this, like, implemented in a patch? Or is it a mod?
