The Oblivion NPC memorial thread
In this thread, we remember all of the innocent and not so innocent people who were either in our way or in the wrong place at the wrong time in TES IV.
RIP S'thasa of Border Watch. I got tired of going to buy lock picks from Shady Sam and being horrible enough at stealth that I got caught picking your pocket, so I sunk Chillrend into your back so I could complete the damned prophecy and get Wabbajack. I technically did it for the greater good, so I could help Martin save the world and all that jazz, but you didn't really deserve it. Such is the life of a Blades agent and a rogue.

Monsters are bred in labyrinths, labyrinths are bred from walls. There is a reason the Giants choose to remain nomadic rather than follow their shield kin the Nords in building permanent settlements. The Tower is the beginning of all walls.

Oh, Gwinas. Other people keep saying that you would've surrendered that note and turned your back on the Mythic Dawn if I ever bothered to actually talk to you. Almost makes me feel sorry about stabbing you while you slept in that hotel bed.
Almost.
Almost.

Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.
Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.

RIP half of Bravil, it took one wrongly aimed fireball to start a massacre. *sigh*

RIP 11 skeletons, a bandit, 2 wolves and a thing with no arms. Vanaz needed you to attack him a lot to level his heavy armour.
And then he levelled up and needed to get blade up 10 levels as well...

Re: The Oblivion NPC memorial thread
I think she was one of the more likeable Orcs actually. "God's Ghoulies!" haha.... Ah well. Haven't played Oblivion since Saturday so nothing new to add, except to say that if I'd had this thread made since 2006 it would contain over a hundred just from me.

RIP: Sickly Bernice, okay in all honesty she isn't dead, but imminent death is just around the corner, so close, but so far away.....
Also guy who wanted me to kill you, I just pushed you off the stairs and laughed.

Join me in hoisting a toast to my Adoring Fan!
He's not actually dead, though. I simply led him into the necromancer's chamber in Benirus Manor and kindly asked him to stand.
Not over there. Here.
I walked back out, turned and waved. He smiled.
I sealed the door.
Dusk paints the skies before my eyes with violet and pink. A cool breeze brushes my face. I hear people chatting at a nearby tavern. And I smile.
Because he's still there.

RIP Bernadette Peneles.
Yes, I told Glarthnir that you were spying on him. And he killed you in your bed.
But I wanted an extra free bed in Skingrad, and I wanted to try out the alchemist girl's suggestion of necrophilia. And we've had some grand nights together after you were dead, didn't we?! Whew!
(by the gods, this is one of the funniest threads I've seen in a long time...)

RIP Berich Inian.
You didn't even make it out of the Chapel Undercroft. Neither did those three Imperial soldiers who came to help. Useless bunch you were. Left poor Muril to fend off all those Xivilai on her own.

To all those extremely useful... um, I meant helpful...people on the docks in Anvil who just happened to be between me and the three robbers standing outside the shop when I shot at them from cover halfway down the dock...

For Francois Motierre
When the zombies came running
I went with my cunning
And dashed the hell out of there
Never will I return below
Lest I be ripped apart from head to toe
By Motierre, and his demonic, raging kin.
..but, yeah, being level 4 has its disadvantages.

R.I.P.
The denizens of the waterfront. In that moment of surprise when I was set upon by a lone Mythic Dawn assassin, I flung a fire spell... and missed. I do hope the Guards forgive me at some point. This plane of Oblivion is hot... and very empty
