I recently decided to play Morrowind again, so I installed it (GOTY CD-set), and thought I'd also check out the Overhaul 3.0 mod. Everything installed smoothly, but after I played for a little while, it started crashing.
There doesn't seem to be any consistency with the crashes. Sometimes I can play for a good while without any problems, other times it crashes a short while after the last. Both in and out of combat, as well as when I'm just standing around waiting.
I've saved 4 crash reports, in the hope that they contain the answer to why this keeps happening.
My system is: Win7 32-bit, Intel i5, Radeon HD 6900 series, and 3GB RAM.
I hope that someone can help me with this problem, and if there's any more info that's needed, just let me know.

Re: Seemingly random crashes - Morrowind with Overhaul 3.0
You have all Morrowind patches installed? Overhaul 3.0 probably needs more than mere GOTY. Take a careful look at its Readme, or any information. General info can be found in http://morrowind2009.wordpress.com/
If you suspect Hardware or Windows problems, look at Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Administrative Tools\Event Viewer --- goes for Windows 7
Finally: Give specs about your computer AND its OS, there's a million combinations out there, and problem solution is NOT as easy as changing a battery on a flashlight.
I strongly doubt it is a hardware issue. But one never knows.
