Don't get me wrong, Bretons are my favourite race. But I don't think playing a mixed class in Arena and Daggerfall would work out well. And I'm planning on playing a Knight in Arena and then carrying that character forward into Daggerfall as the same person.

My wireless mouse went bad this week; I've only had it four months (and just changed the battery last week). Too much time has passed to return it to the store, but it's still under warranty, so I've contacted Logitech and they'll send me a new one free. Hopefully I just got unlucky with the last two; otherwise if this one goes bad early too, I'm not going with Logitech again. (At least I can borrow my parents' extra mouse so I can still play Skyrim until it arrives.)

And tonight I don't have to work, so I'm off to get some Taco Bell, play Dragonborn for a couple hours, then have a Game of Thrones and video game night with some friends. It'll be fun.

Just make sure that the "Game of Thrones" time doesn't get too close to the "video game" time. That never ends well.

You know, I'm haven't been completely shaken away from my pacifist Theraveda Buddhist faith, but the Pastafarian allegory of Pirates is beginning to make sense.

Take a look two or three years ago: Piracy was rampant 'round the Horn. And we had biting winters that set records for all-time low temperatures. Shortages of heating gas pitting nations at each other's throats.

Fast forward to 2012: international naval patrols take their toll on piracy, the whole pirate business in of itself is running down under its own weight. And what do we see? Drought, record-setting summer heat, and the Arctic Ocean is starting to thaw!
