Re: Dragonborn (DLC) Discussion
Hmm...I don't remember but it took about 45 minutes to download. I'm assuming it was small because my computer savvy husband mentioned surprise at its size. I just looked on Steam and it isn't showing another download. But why would it do so twice on your computer? All these issues must be giving you headaches, Mauin. Lame!

Re: Dragonborn (DLC) Discussion
Definitely got a headache right now, that's for certain. I just can't figure out what Steam is downloading. It's nearly finished, so I might find out then.
100MB left.
This is just weird.
Edit:
A third part to the High Res DLC, apparently.
I still have yet to find a solution to my inability to ride Dragons. Bah. So much for getting that achievement.

Re: Dragonborn (DLC) Discussion
Gee, what do you think? Bugs galore over here.
I still can't ride Dragons. Stripped my save down to no mods at all (I'm amazed it even loaded) and tried to ride a Dragon. No luck at all.
It's still the same old problem: the Dragon takes off and leaves the player floating either sitting or standing in the exact same spot. Reloading is not working.
I've run out of options.
Other than that? Everything is working like normal now. 16-17MB saves aside, everything is just fine. The Dragon issue is the only major bug I currently have.
Edit:
YEOW!
Got Dragonriding working. After examining the Dragonborn.bsa file, I found that it edited the skeleton.nif file for Dragons.
Went and looked at my folder and found that I had a skeleton.nif file for Dragons already there. Deleted it, and now I can ride Dragons without being mysteriously left floating.
Now, if only my Nether Dragon hadn't gotten stuck in the ground...

Re: Dragonborn (DLC) Discussion
So far no bugs for me and I'm not into main quest in dragonborn yet. Just enjoying new armors items and enemies haha with my lycan Orc. I heard there is werewolf quest somewhere so I'm looking forward to it. I wonder if there r gonna be more dlc's with new places cuz frankly I got tired of Skyrim after nearly 400 hours of game play. I'm looking forward to elseweyr or however its spelled in next dlc hopefully

3 hours into the DLC, not yet. (Though as I said yesterday, I'm not far at all into it, haven't been to Miraak Temple yet, just been exploring and did a sidequest with Nords.)Frost Mage wrote:Any bugs for anyone yet on the PC?

Having done everything in the Dragonborn DLC, the only bugs I saw were minor ones, mostly just dead bodies not cleaning up.
So where is my dream? It is the continuation of reality. But where is my reality? It is at the end of your dream.

I cant remember any bugs that I had for dragonborn. I'm not knocking mods, but doesn't it seem obvious that if you are experiencing bugs, they are coming from the 100 different add-ons that weren't made by beth, nor play tested by them?

While mod conflicts could cause issues, it's just as likely to be problems with the DLC itself.

Re: Dragonborn (DLC) Discussion
The only bugs if experienced on Xbox are an extreme drop in framerate When dragon riding over Solstheim and, more than often, When entering buildings the floors and walls disappear and everything falls continuously. But reloading fixed it quick and easy.

Re: Dragonborn (DLC) Discussion
I think I have one though I don't know for sure whether it's a bug or mod conflict (I have very few mods though). Those guys and girls worshiping those strange stone shrines stand around like mannequins. And one walked around with a giant stone attached to her hand. I'm preeetty sure they aren't supposed to.Frost Mage wrote:Any bugs for anyone yet on the PC?
Anyways. Enjoying the DLC so far. Yakov beat up Karstaag yesterday. Boy was that a surprise battle. Got killed twice. First time I was looking at the wrong way like "WTF is going on?" and then BAM, he hit me from behind.

Re: Dragonborn (DLC) Discussion
Do you have FNIS? If you do, you need to update it. I had the same thing going on until I updated FNIS. If you don't update it, you'll keep having those problems and you'll also experience animation issues with other key points in the Dragonborn quests.CreeperX wrote: I think I have one though I don't know for sure whether it's a bug or mod conflict (I have very few mods though). Mods like Realistic Ragdolls and Force will need to be updated as well. Anything that edits the animations and skeletons of Dragons and NPC's will conflict with certain aspects of Dragonborn. Found that one out the hard way.
Somehow I'm thinking those are going to be the first mods to go for me. They're causing a few problems.
But it'll have to wait until all my saves are corrupt... Which Hunts-With-Fury is getting close. Save size is still rising.

Does Dragonborn add any new dialogue for old Skyrim NPCs, like Dawnguard did? I guess it's too much to ask if you expect Brelyna acknowledge she's in a Telvanni tower if you take her to Tel Mithryn?

I do actually. Thanks for the info. Gotta update it right away... or just disable it for a while if I'm being too lazy =P.Mauin wrote: Do you have FNIS? If you do, you need to update it. Hermaeus Mora's dialogue changes slightly depending on if you've done his Daedric quest first, and vice versa.
Sapphire in Riften gets new dialogue that I won't spoil.

Re: Dragonborn (DLC) Discussion
I think with the entire 300 or so hours I've spent with Skyrim on the Xbox, I have encountered maybe 5 bugs detrimental to the game, and if I recall correctly, all of them could be fixed with a quick reload.
Haven't done tons of Dragonborn yet, as most of my characters aren't very far in the MQ besides my Warrior, so we'll just wait and see how that goes.

I downloaded it recently and haven't experienced any bugs, but I haven't played it much so I'm still not sure...
If I do find a bug would it be okay to post it on this thread?

Re: Dragonborn (DLC) Discussion
No bugs for me just yet, but I've only been playing for a few hours, and that's been mostly spent exploring and doing side quests (I've only gotten around to checking out the Earth Stone in the main quest). Naturally, I poked it out of curiosity. I have to say, I like Miraak's voice. Anyone know the voice actor? Also, is there anywhere on Solstheim I can sell my crap, or do I need to go back to the mainland for that?
Signatures are overrated.
