You know you're a stereotype if you behave in an appropriate stereotypical manner.
You know you're a computer geek when you think differing OS preferences would be a bigger hurdle to a relationship than differing religions. (this is true of me and my girlfriend)
You know you're from New Jersey when you are going home from a party at 3 in the morning and your first instinct is not to go home, but to a diner.
You know you're from New Jersey when you're about to exit a highway and you automatically reach for your wallet (or the car's cigarette tray, which is filled with change).
You know you're a gamer when you're about to do something risky in real life, and you try to quicksave. (I'm sure most of us on this forum have done that)
You know you spend too much time playing TES when you try to persuade a person of something, but you'd forgotten that you actually have to do something instead of clicking on "Persuasion".

Help? Help with what? They don't make a cure for stupid. You'll just have to play through the game all over again. - Butterknife

What does miming mean, is that the same thing as lip singing.r wrote:You know you're a musician when you can work out whether bands on TV are miming or not.

following on from that, you know you're a musician when it takes you ten seconds or fewer to work out what key any song that's being played is in.r wrote:You know you're a musician when you can work out whether bands on TV are miming or not.

I can do that too. One easy way is to look at the last note in a song. Generally, that's the key signature. On scales, it's REALLY easy. Just the first and last note.Dogmantra wrote:following on from that, you know you're a musician when it takes you ten seconds or fewer to work out what key any song that's being played is in.r wrote:You know you're a musician when you can work out whether bands on TV are miming or not.

You know you're Iranian when naming your son Alex is out of the question. Happened to me. Mom wanted to name me Alex but Persians don't really... well lets say jump for joy for that name
