Re: Beta signups have started!
Above average, despite 300 days played in EverQuest and probably close to that in World of Warcraft, spent doing all manner of different style of activities and being involved in player and theorycrafting communities. (And also having played a handful of other MMOs.)
I'm going to be sad if I don't get in before they start stress-testing.

Sweden is there, or at least it is now. But for some reason, it's between Seychelles and Singapore.Skrofler wrote:That might be useful. For some reason Sweden wasn't an option for country of residence so I had to pick something else. That still annoys me a bit.

Well what do you know!
I didn't notice the unalphabetical order so I looked between Swaziland and Switzerland.
It seems they use top level domain order.

Depending on if they're even accepting people from india. Sometimes they just omit us since they wont be setting up decent servers for us.
Above Average.
Other than that, years of MMo experiance, testing TOR and dropping that I used to be a mod on an ES site, as well as being a big fan of the lore of the series might help.

Re: Beta signups have started!
Ended up above average - maybe their servers will be in Minnesota ...
It probably helped that I'm really old. It will be interesting to see how many of my students get in./ I teach VG programming so it would be a great experience for any of them. However given the large number of MMOs they radio boxed, it may hurt my odds that I have played none of them, nor any games in that genre.
I was saving myself for the right one.
We will see what happens. Good luck, all.

Re: Beta signups have started!
Ok well i thought about this and i gotta learn at some point.
What's your job as a beta tester? just play and report bugs and try and break the game? Do you have to play a certain number of hours? I went to the sign up and got excellent but i thought about my poor limited internet downlload cap and decided not to sign up...

Yes, that's exactly what you do, there's no need to play a certain number of hours.Tesknowitall wrote:Ok well i thought about this and i gotta learn at some point.

Re: Beta signups have started!
I didn't, quite annoyingly, seeing as I STARTED THIS THREAD!
EDIT: Hmm. Just submitted an application again, and they didn't seem to have a problem with it(i.e., they didn't tell me I'd already signed up). I wonder if the system screwed up the first time(I did have quite a lot of problem getting the page to load properly then).

Re: Beta signups have started!
I got one Music. Though my computer is currently out of commission so that presents a problem. I should be able to download the launcher on another computer and then, if invited to more betas, play off my own PC in the future right?

Re: Beta signups have started!
I didn't get one, but I'm friends with a few Zenimax guys on G+, so I just live vicariously through them until the release.
I had a ton of problems too, Taters. That first day was chaos.

Re: Beta signups have started!
I got a random e-mail saying i got in today =/
but damn it all when after seeing random stuff for other games from weird sources that i can't be sure it's legit
but then i go and see a news blip on teh eso site saying invites went out
edit: well now i'm fairly certain it's not a scam. new goal now is to break the server somehow. Queue Danger Zone up for the montage.

No but really, congrats
Share your experiences on the site after the test is over. Be interesting to see how it feels/plays from a first hand fan perspective.

And congrats to all those who probably just got themselves removed from the program again by posting about it here and thereby probably breaking the NDA...

NDA is only for content in the game, not whether you're in the program.

AngryNord is correct, actually. Though it seems rather unlikely they would act on it, your selection as a Beta tester is confidential under the NDA.
