"You heard him," Deathblade said as he brought his gun out and started heading towards the explosion, "And that is why you don't drink on the job."

Unintelligible grumbles came from Shadowstrike as he grabbed his bow and headed after.

V.V dropped the pistol he was holding and tried to swap back with the thug.

Dr I
"Nah. I just don't like people enrouching on my territory." Was the simple response, the man kept glaring. "Now ya gonna leave or what?"

Black Phantom
He couldn't see anything change according to his eyes. Mark Man quivered.

Justicar
"A helper. Have you seen the one called Batman?" Azreal stated, his covered gaze focused upon her.

Liquid Lass
She saw what looked like an empty hallway, with a few babies crying in some rooms.

Youling
Jeeze there was no kill like overkill for Youling, of course the dead body didn't complain or fight much.

Deathblade and Shadowstrike
Another small boom came from the area, followed by yet another. They could see it was molotov's cocktails.

V.V.
And with good timing too, as the thug was drawing V.V's own gun. Now with a gun in hand V.V was looking at the body they have previously occupied.

Liquid Lass
"Nope," Meredith said quietly, "creepy hallways with crying babies don't seem to be the safest place to go right now." She turned to continue searching, but after just one step her heart went out to the little babies she heard. She didn't know if she could do anything to really help them, but she decided she would at least try and console them. Meredith turned back toward the door and went into the hallway, walking cautiously. "Hello?" she called out. She scanned the hallway for any doors that might lead to the crying babies.

"Fire, how fun," Deathblade muttered.

Yōulíng brought his foot down on the man's face, before turning to leave. His work was finished... for now.

"If I did see Batman, chances are he would be the last thing i would see for a while." The Justicar told Azreal as her shoulder slowly continued to bleed. "He hasn't been seen or heard from for the past 6 months." She informed him and continued to ignore her wound due to her distrust of the stranger.

The Black Phantom
"Why did you capture me? What do you want?" The ghost asked from within the man. He was oddly comfortable with the whole ordeal.

"It is, isn't it?" Shadowstrike answered as he looked around the area, a regular arrow nocked and ready to go.

V.V aimed at the thug. "Put your hands up and don't move. Do what I say I won't shoot you." said V.V. He was planning on having the thug drag his friend to the car and put them both in the boot.

Aignochta'lckhan sat back in the pilot's seat and looked at the craft's monitors. Altitude, descending... His thoughts trailed off as he went through each read out on the screens... Until he reached engine heat levels. Heat levels. He thought as he tapped the screen lightly with his fingernails. The levels were slightly above norm, which could mean the automatic landing system was over calculating the rate of descent and trying to slow the fall by pushing the stabilizing jets and the engine to their limits.

Aig decided to keep his eye on the readouts a bit longer before checking the engine personally.

"Yeah, yeah, I'll be on my way," said Dr. Ingram. He turned to leave, but first he activated the thermal vision in his bionic eye, and gave the area a sweep. He was careful to make it look as if he was just taking one last good-natured glance around.

Liquid Lass
There was a half open door that lead to a semi-lit room, the crying seemed to come from there.

Youling
There was no reaction to that, no movement or outbursts of anger.

Justicar
"Useless." Was all Azreal stated. "Useless information." He seemed bothered by something and so stepped back from the undead woman. "Useless fighter too."

Black Phantom
"Just because. Why else." A soft chuckle.

Shadowstrike & Deathblade
More Molotov cocktails burst across the ground. They seemed to be tossed over the steel fence.

V.V
The Thug was confused once more, but he complied. His hands stayed up.

Aig
The readouts began to drop, the heat levels began to rapidly ascend. His descent took an unexpected rapid decline. Falling out of the sky.

Dr. Ingram
The area seemed clean, only one other thermal signature in the area, and that was higher than normal, on a bed outwith his normal sight.

The Black Phantom
"Then I hope you don take this personally, it just business." The ghost said as he began to choke his victim with his own Hands.

Aig quickly rose out his chair and cursed under his breath. While putting his suit's helmet on as safety precaution, he thought to himself, Remember your training simulations. Power down the engines, initiate the cooling cycle, turn the engines on, and begin manual landing. The alien then darted through the craft's passage ways to reach the engine compartment.

The Justicar slowly backed away from the stranger after he stated that her information was useless and tried to make her way back towards her bike whilst keeping her defensive posture.

Meredith peeked into the half-open door.

"Drag your friend out to the street. You're taking him to my car, it's a green Chevrolet. You're putting him in the trunk and then you're getting in after him. Leave his gun here, I'll take it and yours. Try anything, and I'll shoot you. Do what I say and you'll just go to jail." said V.V. "Fair?"

Dr. I zoomed in to try and get a better idea of what the thermal signature meant, and also of which building it was located in.

Shadowstrike looked for a ladder, or a climbable surface, so he could get a better idea of who was throwing the cocktails.

As Yōulíng walked away, he looked down at his bloodstained costume and sighed.

"Why can't people die cleanly?" he lamented, "Now I have to wash this off."

Youling
He was uncontested in his path leading away from the body.

Shadowstrike - Deathblade
Besides the steel fence was some boxes, a way to see who's throwing them? One cocktail came dangerously close to Shadowstrike.

Black Phantom
The lack of air killed the man, he could feel the anger and the pain of breathing and not getting air.

Liquid Lass
There was a nursery, rather pretty, white. A cot was there two, covered by a babyish patterned blanket. The crying was coming from there.

Aig
*Boom* Came from the engines. The descent nosedived.

V.V.
The man dragged his friend in compliance, their guns were left on the floor, he was confused but he didn't know how this guy did it!

Dr. I
The thermal signature was human, ill but human. The building it was in was slightly off left and behind the man with the sword.

Justicar
Azreal walked off, not interested any more, she reached her bike.

Liquid Lass
Meredith decided to enter the nursery, seeing no one around. She walked softly and carefully toward the cot, trying to make out the shape of what was being covered by the blanket.

Aig let out an annoyed grunt as he picked up the pace. A boom coming from the engines was never a good thing, especially if the craft was already falling out of the sky. He was going to try and attempt repairing the engines, even though he knew his efforts were in vain.
