Allright peeps,

So I am watch SAO(Sword Art Online) now. about gamers that get stuck in a game and have to clear it in order to get back to the real world.
A amazing plot! I Highly recommend it!

also Log Horizon a serie with somewhat the same plot but it reminds me of TESO.

I have to disagree with you there. The plot to the series had a good concept and start.. for the first few episodes.. then it spiraled down to a mess. I'm not even going to talk about the 2nd season.. that's just... no... But the 1st, it kept doing massive time skips only to buffer around with what I can presume to be filler and fan service.. and don't get me started on character development.. Every female character basically has to be either the damsel in distress or another potential harem for the protagonist.. and the lead female protagonist gets the worst of this despite near the beginning showing such potential for a strong, female character... as for the actual protagonist... he eventually become more of a crybaby than Peter Parker in Spiderman the movie.. not to mention he's always stronger than everyone else and can even do things deemed impossible simply because he's the star of the show.. logic?

However I am not simply ranting against SAO, I'm actually giving a true review, and thus this show is not without redeeming qualities, mind you. The music for one.... ooooh it's like a drug but for your ears. I mean really, it has some of the best music overall, many of whom.. whether they hate the series or absolutely love it.. can agree is wonderful. As for another quality that is admirable is the fight scenes and combat, I mean they by far did not hold back with the animation. Really that's what most people are here for, the action, not to mention the setting.

So in my opinion of pro's and con's:

In general, even to many reviewers who deem this show with a lower rating/score, overall it was still enjoyable. It may be contributed to the fact it mimics more of most Shonen styles, but generally even those are enjoyable

It's a trait that shares more of a curse than blessing... I cannot help but analyze any anime I've watched, even Cowboy Bebop is not safe from criticism.

Still, If you like Shonen or to what you've watched, you should see it through to the end. In anime form, it ends at season 2.. however the manga continues on and I doubt they'll make more for the anime

Still, recommendations from me can be at fault, namely because people have different preferences. Claymore for one is good, though the manga is far better.. however I know for a fact not everybody would like it.

On the otherhand, if you really like Ghost in the Shell, I can directly recommend Psycho Pass. It was produced by Production I.G. (same people who made Ghost in the Shell) and written by Gen Urobuchi (creator of Madoka Magica and Fate/Zero). I will however say, do not go into the series with high expectations, it cannot compete with Ghost in the Shell.. most anime's can't. In general, Psycho Pass is average, good yes, but still better than alot other series that fly about

Claymore souds good to me what's it about?

The best description I have heard.. it has all 3 B's.. or B.B.B. (Blood, Blades, & Babes)
To bring it up short, I'll just copy what hulu has "A deadly breed of monster - the Yoma - has only one foe: Claymore. All that I find sad about the anime is near the end it altered from what the manga did.. and also never got a 2nd season...

About Claymore: there were a few changes, but basically, the anime stopped after one season and the manga kept going. Definitely an enjoyable read, I should pick it up again some time.

Actually it is pretty cool. Granted I'm not a fan to fan service.. but the plot and action to the series is great

I don't really like watching cartoons much (I really only like to watch old cartoons from the 30's-60's).

Favorite manga: Vagabond

Favorite anime: Basilisk

Although, I do still like to re-watch Ninja Scroll every now and then.

Can anyone tell me if Trigun is worth watching?

Old classic anime? Decent plot? Great character development and a fan favorite, yes.. it is worth watching. It also stars it's own movie Badlands Rumble

Hopefully you anime fans aren't planning on going to Canada any time soon.

If you liked Claymore, then you should try your luck with Hellsing Ultimate not the regular Hellsing... it deviates from the manga and kept too much focus on Seras and not Alucard... however I will give props to it having better music

Still, Ultimate does support full subtitle but the last few episodes sadly are not in english. Alos to note, the very fist batch of episodes are fairly old compared to the rest, so expect better.. well everything<_< a large budget addition can do that sort of thing

Seeing as any ounce of video may serve as a spoiler.. hopefully this will excite your interest I will warn you though.. if you though Claymore was bloody and had gore.. you've seen nothing.. Hellsing prides itself with immense amounts of gore with enough mutilation and blood to drown a city... literally..
