Even though you didn't get the top of the line stones, you still got good ones in relation to your level and the creatures you're encountering. So put them to good use and when you get to be higher levels, you can find better stones and enchant other items with them.

Yes, it's true. I finally confirmed it day before yesterday. If you're quick, you can grab up to three sigil stones before you flash outta there. I would say that based on the number of reads and the fact you haven't received an answer, you're screwed. Just do the quest again from some previous save, it's not that bad.

Sometimes the Temple will deny you! I got to the point in my Thief/DB character that I could not use any Temples and would receive a 'repent, you sinner!' type statement. I am not sure that a potion will do it either. If you figure it out, please post.

They are used to replenish your magika points. They act just like Potions of Sorcery. Clicking on them when your magika points are maxed results in nothing.
