UESP Forums

Discord is indeed awesome. But what stays on the forums, stays on the forums. And I'm one of those that think that forums are still better than just instant messaging.

I could only afford ESO if I didn't spend so much on my guitar and effects and accessories for it. But it's the only ES game that I ...

I've been away for quite a while. What's up?

Thank you kindly! And now for something completely different (couldn't get the video to display here somehow):

It's been a while and I went through some tough stuff lately, but I managed to get into Google's bookstore partnership and I had published "Starmakers" there! I will upload a link to it once it passes verification. Here are two latest additions that should make it all complete!

Thorns

I will ...

That's pretty good if you ask me Aarah!

Here's a short one that I wrote recently.

Thank you!

I decided to write more and go for a book release, since I need only a few pages more to get it through Amazon self publishing.

Been away for a while.

Something that I mentioned in creative stuff thread - my chapbook of poetry is ready text-wise and once I'll finish all the illustrations I will publish it!

I have bought an electric bass guitar a month ago and I'm already rocking!

"Starmakers" is now complete! I'll work on illustrations and it'll be ready for release as a chapbook! I'm re-uploading all of them here.

Starmakers

Orion’s Pearls

All the stars in your eyes,
Through your pupils shining,
Compare not to the nebular beauty,
Concealed within your irises.

Thank you! Your opinions are a big motivating factor for me. Maybe I'll write something over the weekend!

EDIT: A new sonnet! This one keeps the Shakespearean formula of ABAB CDCD EFEF GG rhyme pattern and iambic pentameter (10 syllable lines). I also decided to use dream vision allegory in my next ...

Thank you! This might come from experiences with other germanic languages and finding information about old and middle English.

My first intent was to write about overcoming great obstacles to reunite with a lost lover. It ended like that, just a whole lot darker. The great thing about poetry is ...

Thank you! I'm planning to do so, first by publishing an e-book online and then looking for a publisher for physical copies, but I think that I'll have to write a bit more. And I will surely gladly accept help of a skilled illustrator!

Here is a new poem! It is different in its composition and ...

Those doodles are excellent!

This one took longer than expected, because I started writing it in Middle English (checking Wiktionary just in case) and rewritten it to modern equivalent halfway through.

Traveller’s Grace

Where do you wander, oh the smallest of the stars?
Seeking your place ...

Thank you kindly!

I'll have to squeeze as much as I can out of the last few days of this week, another year at university begins next Monday.

Hmmm, now I'm curious as to what kind of things UESPers collect.

I'm a hard case of random item hoarder with an evergrowing appetite for more clutter in my flat. I blame Morrowind for this - collecting and re-arrangnig items in all my player houses. I always have a shrine to Lord Brinne for some ...

This reminds me that I've got my hunting knife buried somewhere underneath my stuff...

Kinda not this thread, but I don't want to triple-necro-post. I'm enough of an n'wah to hijack this one though. So, I've got another poem done after quite a break.

I wish I had the budget to drive through Europe with my car. I travel abroad mostly by busses, and tomorrow I have one back to Poland. It might be hard, but I think that I can manage to save a bit and get some people interested in a trip, but time is another problem.

Went through the first week of my summer job abroad (Germany, in freezers of a restaurant). The place is not that far from my sister's house (with whom I'm living), people are generally nice and the wage is decent (especially considering that when I'll get back to Poland, I'll get much more out of ...

I just love the possibility of matching different armour types and styles in Morrowind! Shots taken on the Sheogorad shores.

May you walk on warm sands, goodbye!

Oh look, a double post!

Here's a little work in progress concept art of a character, inspired by Hammerite haunts and Revenants of Thief and The Dark Mod.

Edit:

Made a small step forward.

Visited some wonderful places! Just returned from the trip to glacier - we had to go back before we reached it. I was terribly hangover while moving up as well, so the day was just a way through horror, and I found out that I sent several gibberish drunken messages to a random person. Nevermore!

I ...

I'd love to visit South America some day, especially to see Amazon river.

By the German border right now, tomorrow morning I'll be in Switzerland, going by bus.

There's just a lot of different factors you need to have in mind when traveling, and many things you can't predict even in day to day life. Nobody expects the Spanish inquisition.

I like traveling alone, but I also enjoy having company. I've also got this dumb kind of luck that gets me into awkward ...

Thanks! Now for something completely different, here's a quick doodle and my incomplete attempt to turn it into a 3D model. I'll probably scrap the model and start it anew anyway.

Have fun in Switzerland, Snehk! The glacier does sound good; though it's a notice in global warming that it might not be there in the future.

I added you to the confirmed users so you can post your photos. Something tells me you got some good ones!

Thanks! Already uploaded my (mostly) crude ...
