I really am sorry about all these long posts. :|
Now I'm confused, because here you acknowledge Ulfric's right to high-kingship. I acknowledge Ulfric's candidacy to high-kingship. I cannot stress that enough.
You and Balgruff know something very different let me assure you. All I know is that ...

Re: Ulfric's Duel
Good man. But wouldn't it be assuming if we said he was racist because of 1 contextual piece of dialogue?
You're paraphrasing a bit, but yeah that was the gist.
I disagree. I think you, me, and Jarl Balgruff know how to seperate individual might from military might.

Re: Ulfric's Duel
You are 100% correct, but in this case Ahtar was having a private conversation with the PC. Ahtar also calls his own prisoners "scum", and has no complaints for the other Argonian in the city(Gulum-Ei) so I think it's a stretch to call him racist.

Re: Ulfric's Duel
The way Ulfric sees it is that he legally challenged a nordic ruler of a nordic country in the old nordic way.
The way the empire sees it is that Ulfric killed a imperial subject in an imperial province, which is illegal under imperial law.

Re: Ulfric's Duel
I just had an interesting conversation with Ahtar in solitude. I asked him about his next execution, and he shared an interesting thought with me. He told me that "Filthy Argonian never would have set foot in this city, if High King Torygg was still alive."

Re: What makes you mad in Skyrim?
Skyrim is the first Elder Scroll game I refuse to do Dead Is Dead on. ALL THE TIME I'll have half health, about to heal then I'm COMPLETELY frozen, forced to 3rd person to watch an execute. What the Hell?? I WOULD NOT HAVE DIED. THEY WOULD HAVE NEVER HIT ME BEFORE I HEALED IF IT DIDN'T PARALYZE ME ...

Re: Ulfric's Duel
It's like having a late-night party, and someone says "Turn the stereo down! The cops are driving by. Everybody keep quiet for a minute." Then Ulfric strolls over to the window and shouts out the window "Talos forever, man! Wooohoooo!"

Re: Ulfric's Duel
Except dueling isn't one of the traditions he's talking about. He objects to the perceived diminished authority of Jarls in favor of their Imperial sponsors, and what he views as the insult of outlawing Talos worship (which was never actually enforced until the rebellion began, a point I can't ...

Re: Ulfric's Duel
Its fairly obvious that when ulfric challenged the high king every notable figure in solitude and skyrim, decided it is according to the nord laws and traditions, otherwise it wouldnt have happened.

I was always fascinated by how people dont see that consoles only exist so people can throw their money out the window.
Obviously PC. There are some very creative mods like frostfall and other immersion mods.

Re: More corrupt: Riften or Markarth
Well, depends on which Silver-Blood you mean. For example, in Riften, Maven is the dictionary mafia godfather, uh, mother. If you go to the meadery (and have high enough persuasion), some of the employees fear being secretly killed by her. If Maven was placed in such a situation, I doubt she would ...

Begs the question, if Maven has so much power, influence, and illegal routes, why isn't her means of corruption deemed the greater threat or even tolerated at that?

Re: More corrupt: Riften or Markarth
Only way to compare the 2 is how professional the criminals are in each city.
Markarth is pretty much ran by the Silver-bloods. I mean if they just get wiped out, there would be a giant power-vacum in markarth. Also the markarth scheme is much bigger than just a group of pick-pockets

There's a rare feature in certain other RPG's where, as your character develops, most lesser enemies recognize when they are outmatched and rightly flee in terror at the mere sight of you (or in certain turn-based examples the encounter results in an instant win). I wouldn't mind something similar ...

"If she is a spy, she should" NOTHING. She already likely knows what is going on. That is why she goes to the place where the horn of Jurgen Windcaller was. She does not know the player is Dragonborn, and there is no logical evidence outside of her being there that would prove that to her ...

Maybe at the same point I began using the same mods you're using.
I'm at level 33 right now. The Dremora isn't supposed to change until I'm at level 36 or something. Today, the thing was female half the time, and male the other half. I installed SkyMoMod (Monster Mod) the other day. Maybe it plays ...

She tasked Farengar with locating the Dragonstone. She was present when you came back with that very Dragonstone. She was walking out of the room when Irileth came rushing in to announce a dragon sighting.

Re: Canon results of the civil war?
The details of the rebellion is not really interesting. The only obvious thing about it is that the empire will crumble not just because of the rebellion but because of the infights, the other provinces will see they can break free from the chains of the empire. Hammerfell is already free, Skyrim ...

Never did. As a matter of fact Im not impressed by people like her. If you really are tough, you dont have to advertise it, I will see and decide myself.
In fact you dont have a word in the matter. If I say you are tough, good for you. If I dont, bragging and pretending wont make you tough.

Re: AC/Resistances as a Werewolf
Yeah I find both forms not to be very good, in most books stories and movies Werewolves have a very high regen versus Skyrim. And feeding as a vamp is to time consuming. I also dont understand why you would get more powers as you dont feed. in my book not feeding should make you weaker as you dont ...
