Put another one in the Khajiit column.
"May your road lead you to warm sands."
They just sound so much warmer and friendlier than the other races. I'm sure a big part of that is the voice acting, but I also like their turn of phrase. Their lax attitude for the idea of "property" comes off more ...

Re: A question about "In my time of Need."
I'm more inclined to believe Kematu, because he doesn't pull a blade on you unless you make it clear that you're hellbent on killing him. Saadia on the other hand tries to lure you into an isolated room then pulls a knife.

Re: Where do you want Elder Scrolls VI to be?
I think he is talking about how as the main race of the game, the main story wouldnt be as good.
Right. But I still want to know why it wouldn't, or rather why he thinks it wouldn't, be as good.
The only thing I can imagine is invoking the beast races' status as slaves in some regions of the ...

Re: If you lived in Skyrim ...What would you do??
I have several answers for this, with varying degrees of seriousness.
1) I would want to be a kid. You know, a totally indestructible immortal who can stand in dragon fire all day and night and laugh it off. As an added bonus, annoying adventurers with absurd sneak and pickpocketing skills wouldn't ...

Re: Where do you want Elder Scrolls VI to be?
I'm assuming that the Thalmor will play some role in VI, and that the more recently we've been to a province, the less likely we are to go back to it.
So Skyrim, Cyrodiil, and Morrowind are definitely out.
Redguard and Daggerfall cover Hammerfell and High Rock, so they're out.

Re: Back to Morrowind
Morrowind gets a pass on ugly faces because it's old.
Even in it's heyday, it wasn't considered an amazingly pretty game (with some exceptions, like water). I think the decision not to focus on graphics was intentional, in order to do more of other things within the confines of hardware limitations ...

Re: Back to Morrowind
There was no extra way to do it, but Skyrim gives you an option with most quests.

Like how you don't have to become a werewolf if you want to do the Companions questline. You know, a one-time thing that then forces you to decide... Do I never want to be a vampire? Or do I want to never be ...

Re: Back to Morrowind
cartoonish hyperbole
What I'm really excited about are the improvements and streamlining coming in TES 6:
In games past there were spears and short swords, long swords... then blunt, blade, blah blah... but in 6, they'll be combined into a single "Weapon" skill. Yay! Better yet, to ease new ...

Re: Unsatisfied with Hearthfire?
Would it be terribly inappropriate of me to hope that with adoption being added, they'll also add children for the other races so one can have a pet lizard and/or kitten (that is 'hey, they're not pets!' )?
It would also be nice if you could take your new kid on field trips... after all, there are ...

Re: Alchemy/Enchant loop behavior...
Huh, well something must be up with my save. Maybe some one-off bug with the order I chose perks...
I double checked the other day: All relevant perks, skills maxed, character is not a vampire, nothing weird in active effects... and it's still coming up +20%. The only other thing I could think of ...

Alchemy/Enchant loop behavior...
I was curious to see just how high this could go without using the Fortify Restoration bug.
My reasoning went like this:
With Alchemy and Enchanting maxed, with all relevant perks and before any other shenanigans...
Best Fortify Enchant potion you can make: +15% (Enchanter's Elixirs give +25%)
Best ...
