Re: How's Early Access Been for You?
It's been great. I feel like there are fewer other players around than during Beta, which for me is a good thing. There's usually not too many people clustered around the questgivers, so it's easy to forget that everybody else is doing the same thing I am, but there's enough other people around ...

Re: The Unofficial Skyrim Trivia Game!
Great riddle, Mefris! I really enjoy the ones that I can analyse.
I actually guessed the connection between Aetherius and magika, but I couldn't remember which disease drained magika and I wasn't certain enough of that connection to go look it up.
I'll go figure out a riddle now.

Re: I have never...
I see that no one has ever put a perk into Lockpicking (neither have I, even with my thief character), but has anyone ever played a character who never picked a lock at all? The famous Nord sense of honor apparently doesn't extend to private property. Too much good stuff is in all those chests, and ...

Well, this is a bit of a long post. Quick guess going in: Alduin.

You may not have seen some of these hints. They're there for the finding, I promise, but I won't spoil it.
~The answer is not: A Daedric item, an NPC, a plant, one of the Aedras, or a deity.

So far the best character I made was my planned one! A sorc altmer with heavy armour and 2h weapon. Hits hard up front and finishes by zapping the enemy. Was very effective, especially with the storm calling sorc shield ability.

Went to see Calcemo for his notes on the Falmer language. He wouldnt let me see them, so had to sneak into his lab to find them. There were lots of wizard's guards that I disliked killing, as I dont like killing 'goodies.' After all, the were only guarding- and it was I that was trespassing. I ...

Re: The Unofficial Skyrim Trivia Game!
Ah, a riddle to analyze. Fun.
From the bowels of the earth
To the far reaches of the land
Bowels of the earth= caves, I think. The second line makes me think of the Reach.
I punish the careless,
the weak and the mad

Re: What books do you keep, and do you read them?
Does anyone else wish time in-game didn't stop while you're reading? I would read a lot more if it was a good way to kill time while waiting. As it is, waiting is boring and I never have the time to read.

I love this kind of challenge. I did a less strict version, making it through the Thieves Guild questline without killing NPCs. Animals and undead I did kill a few of, and I did register the kill for the final boss.

Two things I can almost say:

At some point recently, I realized that the railings on the stone bridges in the wilderness were wide enough to balance on. Ever since then, I have a hard time stoping myself from hopping up on them and sprinting across.

After four or five times trying to take on a boss and his flunkies through sheer force, I decided to change tactics. The next time, instead of rushing in, I waited above them until they were all clumped in the right place, then sent Fire Breath at them. That ignited the pool of oil they were ...

You know, werewolf rampages are really fun. Tons of cool kill cams, instant crowd control, and eating people's hearts as a bonus. I'll gladly hold off on the looting for that. I should have done this ages ago.

It took me a while to think of these, but I do like the portable alchemy in Oblivion, and the ability to skip the tutorial is really handy. I also miss the Atronach birthsign, sort of strangely. My only Oblivion character is an Atronach, and I quite like the challenge of hunting down Ayleid wells ...

Over the course of one hour's play today, my Khajiit was 1. Invited to join the Dawnguard, 2. Attacked by cultists, 3. Asked to become a werewolf.
It was a big day for her, I guess. Coming right on the heels of being named Dragonborn, too.
