Khajiit Monk
In Skyrim, when first visiting the DB, one of the guys is talking about a Khajiit monk who was trained in some fighting style, sounded a lot like a Shaolin monk.
Any info on monks with fighting styles in the lore? I see J'Ghasta may be related to this

Yep, that was it!
How crazy is it that there are monks trained in, presumably, kung-fu? I think it was a Khajiit, too.
TES 6 better have Kung Fu Kitties!

Dialogue about a Monk and fighting style?
I was somewhere doing something and the dialogue was talking about a "Monk of Whispering Cane" or something.
Anyone remember anything about this?

Re: Finally got it!
My combat playstyle from Oblivion and Skyrim:
(Sneak arrow attack if possible),
conjure,
stoneflesh,
then one handed.
Got any tips on choosing major/minor skills?

Re: Finally got it!
OK. Wrong skills was what made "efficient" leveling in Oblivion impossible. I could only ever get +3, almost never +5

Hopefully my laptop is strong enough to run it well.
Question: How does leveling work? In Oblivion I stayed at lvl 9 because I could never figure it out! Even with reading the wiki...
Any tips?
I'll be Khajiit...

Guild for Neutral/Chaotic Good Aldmeri Dominion?
In general I play as Khajiit, and was thinking maybe we should start thinking of a UESP Aldmeri Deminion group...
I think my play style is somewhere from Neutral and Chaotic Good.

Re: hard crashes lately Xbox patch 1.1
I started a new game.. after creating and naming character Hadvar and the captain just stare at me, saying nothing...
What is wrong with this game? LOL, at least I've gotten my 60$ out of it, lasted about 30 days...
The saves were on the HD (refurbished 20 gig, never had problems before). Only 3 ...

I have been having hard crashing (everything freezes, not even center "X" button will work, have to press the power button). Sometimes on load screen, sometimes in a forest or city.

Re: I need a new game...suggestions?
do you have Steam?
No, but it would be easy to get, I guess... on Steam Morrowind and Star Wars:KotOR seem interesting.
You should try Darksouls, it's pretty fun.

This seems to be the most sensible explanation.Iaius Amaius Heron wrote:Khajiit only represent real-world cats. They're annoying yet lovable, always getting into trouble, and they don't give a flip 'bout nuttin'.
I completely forget about Mexico, which is desert in the north, tropical in the south...

Khajiit represent what ethnicity
Any idea if the are meant to represent an actual ethnic group?
If I had to guess it'd be one these three:
Arabian
Jewish
Persian
Only desert dwellers I know of, besides parts of Mongolia and middle Africa.
Only desert place with tropical north is Persia (Caspian Sea area).
edit - whoops ...

Way to turn off walking sound?
Thinking of getting morrowind on pc.
Seems like a game I could get absorbed in.
but, just watching a few a walkthroughs and the walking sound is already bothering me...
Is there an option or mod to get rid of that squoish-sqish walking noise?

There are a lot complaints in bethsoft forums about this new patch breaking resistances (and making dragons fly backwards).
I'd research before downloading
