Re: Dawnguard.
In regards to dragon bone weapons I wish it would have been more imaginative with the design and the way they looked. The axe inbthe image posted just looked similar to anything else we've seen. If there's going to be a song and dance and make them a key point make them distinctive. A war hammer ...

Re: DLC Speculation
In regards to Dawnguard, could Dawnstar be in some way the point of entry for some sort of invasion? Maybe something to do with the Thalmor recruiting mercenaries army allies from somewhere else?

Re: new beast race
I agree monkey men would not fit with the lore. Also I have this feeling they would look like monkian from thundercats. Here's a link for anyone who's got no idea what I'm on about.

Re: what do you think of my build?
Just a thought, I know you said your character is a two handed caster but maybe, just maybe, carry a dagger and upskill one handed just for close combat. Remember just a thought.

Re: anyone? anyone...?
Yea did almost the exact same thing. Used a great big war axe and destruction magic. One hit kills on snow trolls and Evan mages didn't bother me just kind of laughed off their attempts. My nord just obliterated everyone and everything in its path. Not even a high overall level either a mere level 31

Re: what do you think of the new armor?
Really like the elven armor, reading the previous posts I'm not the only one let down by the dragon bone armor, however I must say the dragon bone shield looks awesome. Not seen any daedric anythings yet and I'm level 30!!! One thing I'd like Beth to add to the game or smithing is the ability to ...

This is a long shot and may be panned as ridiculous, but could this be a fully grown nirnroot? Some sort of nirntree? Hence the tinkling sound? Probably not eh?

Not even remotely related to ES but still fun. This is me and my flat mate (btw I'm spiderman). All the other pics have been awsome and in some cases I.e. the first upload hilarious!

Re: If I kill a Thalmor Justicier, will they be opposed to m
I did exactly the same and was wondering the same too. My assumption is that if the game is as clever as we believe there were no witnesses, chances are even the talos worshiper was taken down it the subsequent brawl so who'd going to grass on you to the others?

Re: Gitans are more powerful then dragons...
I feel quite proud now. I managed to take down a giant at level 3! Tactics played a massive part, after running for what seemed an age I found that giants don't like water deep enough to swim in and begin to retreat and turn their backs when PC's are having a paddle. At this point use magic and bows ...

Re: Confirmed spells?
I'm pretty sure you can reanimate the dead as a conjure spell
I assume it's logical that this will be a spell as its been mentioned in posts about play tgroughs that its a spell used in a low level staff and the spells used with staffs are availableto use either through a scroll or learnt ...

Re: werewolves in skyrim a different approach
Let's say the do base a werewolf on this model ( which I highly doubt the would ), it would be a massive disappointment, the Khajit are a human shaped cat
in a nut shell you expect a werewolf to be some huge snarling beast. Admittedly they are of human form but not the same as a Khajit by a long way ...

Upon discovering one in oblivion I noticed the action option of ride unicorn, however when trying to select this option I got the reply of beasts accept no yields speech from the game. The unicorn continued to nudge away at me leaving the only option of ...

Re: weapons??
I hope there is one handed hammers. The ability to use a shield as well as caving in some bandits face would be immense. But so too would being able to dual wield with a short sword and hammer. It would be a great combo, knock them of balance and then run 'em though. That would look awsone in slow ...

Re: Please explain?
Thanks for the constructive answers guys I think I get it now. After reading the posted replies a "Dragon Born" is essentially the chosen one chosen by destiny and the gods to rise up and save the realms that be from what ever the peril. And by doing this they shape the future of the Lore ...

So in theory, and I use that term loosely, you in effect are creating a new chapter in lore that will not be followed but manipulated to fit potentially a future story line beyond skyrim

After viewing the new screen shots which looks awesome btw, and also thinking about the story plot that you are "The Dragon Born". Haven't all decendents of Tiber Septum been human(ish) character's/people (nords, britons etc). If you are part of that bloodkine or distant relation hoe can you be an ...

Re: The Elder Scrolls V Wishlist Thread
I want more realism during battle. If I've hit you with a war hammer I want to see your skull caved in, if I've just slashed you with a sabre or long sword why hasn't your arm been tore to shreds or better come off! Finishing moves are needed what's wrong with occasional decapitation? I can't recall ...
