Re: Selling loot in Skyrim...

Is this seriously "ruining" the game for you. Out of all the things that people could complain about, you complain about how long it takes to sell things. Skyrim's loot selling system is much more realistic than Oblivion's. It makes absoloutely no sense if one merchant can buy all those weapons ...

I don't really see it as an 'issue' with the game. It's forcing you, as the player, to make different (smarter) decisions, and plan your routes out more. I play on the PS3 as well, and my current character is a pure-melee build. I find ...

Selling loot in Skyrim...

After completing Blackreach dungeon at about level 33 or so, me and Lydia were both jammed pack with loot. It had gotten to the point where we were tossing away ebony weapons because they were too heavy, so we could mine more soul gems instead. I thought it was awesome having so much loot, until I ...

^^ I agree. But when you encounter someone with a bad attitude, "helping" is not always the first thing that come to mind. This is the part where people spam my thread with half a dozen off topic posts and then try to blame it all one me and tell me I'm breaking the rules and have problems./ I've ...

Re: Skyrim is too easy

Covering the general subject of Skyrim being too easy: it's not. I don't play Elder Scrolls game for the challenge. That being said, of course I don't want them to be too easy, and they're not, they're just challenging enough, more so if you raise the difficulty slider. And no, I don't think Skyrim ...

Re: Skyrim is too easy

Firstly if you ignore the main quest and just do other quests you won't have any shouts which will make the game that bit harder. The only shout I use is unrelenting force (and whirlwind sprint to get to treasure) anyway. I've got heaps but I've never used any of them. Simply, they're less ...

Skyrim is too easy

Playing PS3 version/Master difficulty

Is anyone else finding it way too easy? It starts off good up until level 15 or so. After that it starts getting real easy. It might be harder for a mage or a thief. I'm playing Warrior.

Heavy armor, smithing, dual wielding swords with bonus to critical and ...

Re: Do the starting values of skills for races annoy you?

But it's not about 'has to' it's about an identity as Duruza puts it. For instance, when I say African, most people would have a specific image, which would include dark skin, but that doesn't mean that all Africans have dark skin.
That's true. It's about role playing.

There is not much realism ...

Re: Do the starting values of skills for races annoy you?

They have made things easier for new players that don't care much for truly developing a character. Rather they mainstreamed things significantly.

I do however hate the new look for dark elves, namely with that funky star treck brow thing.
How? Some newbie shows up who can't tell a warrior from a ...

I did this once before but gave up pretty quick. Soon enough you figure "true theives" are not very effective against dragons. I mean, you cannot pickpocket a dragon soul...

If I were to do this again, you'd have to leave the main quest aside entirely.

Do the starting values of skills for races annoy you?

I don't like the starting values of skills for different races. It might just be in comparison to Oblivion, however. But I think they're nonsensical.

In Oblivion, the Imperial had a high personality, starting with good speech and mercantile skills. That's just gone. Why? Why don't they start with ...

Re: How many skills do you use?

I'd like to hear from someone who has made a high level character using a dozen skills evenly. How hard is it to level up? How much trouble to you have with the fiends?

It is not that hard, as you also gain skill-ups from wider set of skills, assuming of course that you are continuing to use all ...

Ironically my dozen skill character just hit level 30, My combat skills are fairly low (around the mid 30s), which does make fights more interesting (I hate it when youre able to 1-2 shot enemies), however Im still leveling fairly fast, maybe Ill only begin to see the effects of what you said at 40 ...
