Re: DLC Speculation
Orsinium would seem like a good place for DLC to explore. It's on the border of Skyrim. I think a giant city full of Orcs would be cool. I would like to see more of that iconic city.

Re: Stormcloak questions
Stormcloaks all the way. The Talos issue is a huge deal. The champion of men, the man that created the Empire and was lifted to god-hood is now banned! Skyrim should be fighting the Thalmor not bowing down to them. The Redguards are still fighting them! Why shouldn't Skyrim!? Ulfric would make a ...

Yeah same here. But for me it only seems to work if they are actively looking for you. Not sure how the system works.

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really tough. They hit really hard. And anything that uses frost is a pain as well. Not only is it damaging but drains your stamina fast.FrostyInferno016 wrote:Might sound bad on my part, my I find Whisp Mothers a bit of a challenge...anyone else?

Re: A Little disappointed in gameplay
The difficulty is rough for the first 15 levels or so. But I've found after you start collecting magical weapons and armor the game starts to balance out a bit. The combat perks help out too. I think the game has to be difficult to a degree in order for the perks/powers/shouts to feel effective and ...

Re: Absurdly Powerful Animals
In the beginning everything was tough for me. Bandits would gang up and I would get my head chopped off, Bears eat my face and I would die a bunch. But after you get magical equipment, it turns the tide in your favor. One thing I love and hate is how powerful bows and arrows are now. I get one shot ...

Re: followers immortal?
The guy from the companions is immortal (forgot his name). I took him with me to fight a giant. I had to run away the whole fight. But he charged in. But the giant hit him once and sent him flying off screen. I was sure he was dead. But next time I fast traveled he caught up with me.

As far as finishers go, for me it has been random. I normally don't get them with power attacks. Just a random swing will do it.

Re: Does Skyrim feel a little too easy to you?
I DIE ALL THE TIME! I will have half life and the opponent will kill me with a finishing strike if Im not blocking. And I couldn't be happier to die. I've been beheaded and ran through. I like having to fight with my head and not run into 6 enemies at a time. When I'm not playing smart the game ...

Picking Master level locks at low levels?
It seems many dungeons have master chests in them, no matter your level. I was able to pick one at level 7. Mind you in took a little hard work, a little luck and a ton of lock picks! But has anyone else picked them at low levels? And do you like that they can be picked so early?

The "Kill animation" for two handed has been great too. I've been beheaded twice.

Re: Your thoughts on the new armor system?
I can't wait for the new armor types. And everything will look good. The amount of detail seen in the demos and screen shots looks amazing. I would like unique armor though. They had unique weapons in Oblivion, some more ultra rare armor would be nice.

Re: Which New Features Are You Drooling Over?
Black Door! But really there is just soooooo much! November is too far away. I can't wait for that first moment when you step into the open world. Like coming out of the sewers in Oblivion or out of the Vault in Fallout. That feeling of "wow...so where do I wana go". It's the best.

JV, I am offended by that "they cannot leave choirboys alone" part. That is a complete and utter generalisation.
Sorry my friend but he has a point. I think people get mad not only because this seems to happen a lot but also in the way the church handled it. Moved them somewhere else!? Come on ...

Re: Religion and Philosophy
The Trinity has always bothered me. It wasn't what I was taught growing up so I've never cared for it much. They call Jesus the son of God. Yet he is also the father. Last time I checked my father and I are two different people. I know I going to hear the water, steam, ice explanation. But I still ...

They haven't said anything yet but I'm wondering if it will turn out like Fallout NV. You could choose between three paths and still go just about everywhere. But depending on who you sided with the area will be hostel or non hostel. I don't think it will be that extreme but more in a grey area. I ...

Re: Religion and Philosophy
The cold, suffocating dark goes on forever and we are alone. Live our lives, lacking anything better to do. Devise reason later. Born from oblivion; bear children, hell-bound as ourselves, go into oblivion. There is nothing else. Existence is random. Has no pattern save what we imagine after staring ...

Re: Playstation 3, overheating issues within time spans
I had the same exact problem with mine. Same exact thing. I tried a fan behind it and that kinda works. Make sure it's in an open area. The PS3 gets hot quick and needs plenty of room to cool down. In the end though nothing worked. I got a hold of the PS3 tech desk and they said I would have to send ...

Re: Best Sneak Character
All starting abilities don't matter at all. You can be legendary with any character, race birth sign dont matter. You can get 100 sneak at level 1 if you want. No hacking or glitches required. Find a low level enemy or NPC that just stands there all day. Guards and some Zombies will do this. Next ...

If you disobey God you are sent there to burn and be tourtured forever!!! So if I make a few mistakes then I end up down there with Hitler. The modern church got it's version of hell from Greek mythogly and Dantes Inferno.

Re: Religion and Philosophy
I think, from a non-religious viewpoint, Satan and hell in general was made to convince followers of the religion to do what they say. You disobey? You get tortured in a fiery cave forever. You do what we say? You go to an eternal paradise. Pretty convincing.
