Excellent. Thanks! Its just that some have said that nirnroot doesn't respawn. That would really suck.

Re: Are nirnroots just like normal ingredients in Skyrim?

So just to confirm, all wild ingredients (ones that are not shelved or stored, but are found in the wilds) can respawn, right? If so, does this include Nirnroot? Is it confirmed that it respawns? I've been told that it does not.

Finally, what about non-wild ingredients (found stored in homes, shops ...

Re: Do skill enchantments make it harder to level that skill

I don't think so, as the Alchemy enchantments actually only affect the strength of your potions. Notice the text: "Makes potions or poisons you create ##% stronger" it doesn't affect your alchemy level, just the strength of what you create.

Yeah, but if my understanding is correct, it worked that ...

Do skill enchantments make it harder to level that skill?

From my understanding, the higher a skill is, the harder it is to level (diminishing returns). Is this also the case with skills that are temporarily boosted due to an enchanted item you are wearing?

The reason that I'm asking this is that I'm wondering if the Alchemy enchanted gear that I put on ...

Re: hardcore mode

Yes.I'd like to see a hardcore mode as long as it makes the gameplay hardcore and not just plain tedious.Hardcore shouldn't make enemies stronger. It should just make things more realistic and rational. Arrows to the head that kill instantly would be a good feature of hardcore, along with the ...

No, not at this point. But that's a pretty good question. I forgot about the touch spells, as they added an element of risk against combat oriented npcs.

Re: anyone else hoping you dont HAVE to use dragonshouts?

Sorry to disappoint ya, but its going to be required when fighting dragons, as your ability to utilize the same power that the dragons use is what actually makes you formidable against them. I am very certain that they will be required to some degree whenever you go to battle with a dragon. Oh and ...

Re: So i was wondering...

I nearly picked low fantasy, because I remember how appreciative I was of the lands in games like Oblivion and Age of Conan, but then I remembered how awesome the zones in WoW and Final Fantays 7 looked, and those games were definitely high-fantasy.

I'm honestly not sure, as I like both. It depends ...

Honestly, I've reached the point where I'm actually shunning new information about the game. Ignorance is bliss, and the game will be great. Also, I really want to avoid spoilers in the previews. This way the world will be more fresh to me in the new game.

Lol. It would be so much easier to ...

I can't help it, but this really reminds me of Cataclysm and the return of Deathwing.

Yeah but let's face it, that story doesn't make sense. I think Deathwing has died twice already. He's recycled material. Besides, he's being painted in a godlike sort of way, which bothers me to no end. He's ...

Why, because the antagonist is a dragon who wants to destroy everything? Come on, there are tons of differences between these two outside of that. Also, Bethesda's been working on this idea long before Cataclysm ...

Re: What things DON'T you want in TESV

Sure, fast travel is optional, but , the fact that they included it in Oblivion is the reason why they didn't include any traveling services that make any sense.
I have nothing against them putting fast travel in Skyrim too, as long as they also throw in some travel services that make sense, like ...

Re: What things DON'T you want in TESV

No hand-holding bull. Find your way to the quest destination old-school style, actually finding locations by yourself.

Fast travel needs to die, what's the point of a giant world if you don't actually walk around in it?
You don't need to use the marker, set it to a different quest and ignore it ...

All of Morrowind's weapons, including the crossbows, spears, and throwing weapons. Nuff said there.

Levitation (from Morrowind). Oh god that was some hilarious stuff.

Crazy potions and enchantments that can even be hazardous to the player (from Morrowind).

Bring back both the Morag Tong, and the ...

My only concern is with animations that take you out of the view that you have set at the time. For example, lets say you are playing in first person view, and you do a finishing move, I want to see that finishing move done in first person view, I don't want the game to switch me to third person. If ...

Re: Wyverns or Dragons?

Look, this is Bethesda's TES lore. Regardless of what someone thinks their dragons "look like", it doesn't matter. That was a dragon at the end of Oblivion, and these are dragons in this game. I don't care if they look like gorillas. This is Tamriel, and if Bethesda says this is what a Tamrielic ...

Anyway, the music in the last video ...

I think what you are saying is what I've been asking for: More various weapon fighting animations. I shouldn't use a dagger the same way I'd use a longsword. Different animations breed different tactics for different weapons.
