I've encountered a problem with my Oblivion game, and I've Googled it and found that I need to uninstall and reinstall the game.
If I do this, will I lose my Save files and mods that I've downloaded/created? And can I just move them to a different folder so that they aren't deleted in the uninstall ...

Re: How do you play on very hard?
I find the best class type for the hardest difficulty is a marksman/mage hybrid. Marksman, Sneak, and Conjuration are a must. When raiding forts I try to find an area where enemies can't reach me, high up areas are best, then use a poisoned sneak attack with a bow on the enemy, then summmon ...

Re: Crime more rewarding
I wouldnt mind there being a system a bit like that in GTA, where there is a "crime meter" that increases when you do crimes and slowly decreases over time. And have guards activity increase and decrease accordingly.

Crazy people! Like those in Shivering Isles. I really liked how unique every character in SI was and how they all had a different personality and different kind of madness. They just make it more interest for the player and I bet the designers have fun inventing them aswell :3

Re: Bugs and glitches
I encountered the bug in the Legacy Lost quest where the Ogres don't appear or wander off or something. This means I can't complete it and move on to the final quest in the "mini quest line" and I can't get the Estucheon of Chorrol. This doesn't stop me getting any achievements so it's not too bad ...

On my second character (Khajiit stealth orientated marksman) I mistook the marksman trainer for a bandit and sniped her. Soooo stupid. It was an amazing shot though

Re: Best place i've never been in?
Definately Rockmilk Cave. I go there with an army of followers and have epic battles involving 3 teams, marauders, black bow bandits, and my team, always fun
Also I really like Vilverin, even if it is a bit of a noob dungeon, I still love the sheer content within it and the back story.

I think it should be one or the other. Having fast travel AND a carriage system makes carriage system obsolete :/

Thus removing the competitive element. The competitive element is what makes any sort of spectacle interesting. You wouldn't watch the world cup if EVERYONE was declared the winner would you?

you don't watch TV?
you don't play games?

My name is Theo, I'm 17 and I live in England.
Interests include:
Music of any genre. Really. My 3 favourite genres are dubstep, post-hardcore and folk. So yea, pretty broad minded when it comes to music.
Gaming, my favourite games are Oblivion, Fallout 3 (better than NV ;P), Far Cry 2, COD4, GTA:SA ...

Re: Somethign I've wonderd
Its set 200 years after the events of Oblivion. So unless being the madgod makes him/her immortal then your Oblivion character will be dead. But even if not that would still be far too hard to work, seeing as everyones Oblivion character was different. And many people won't have played Oblivion. So ...

I disagree with both of OP's suggestions, they seem like annoying features rather than immersive features to me

Re: 1:1 on the time scale
I voted No (or tried to, it kept saying my vote was invalid or some [&@%!]?) because, while it sounds good in theory, many people only play for a couple/few hours a day, so it could take like a week of playing just to see night time or day light. I think the scale that oblivion is on is fine.

As long as this doesn't mean turn based combat then I'm okay with it. Turn based combat is the biggest gaming faux pas ever. Except for in Pokemon games <3

This is a very general glitch, but I like when you KO an essential character and they sort of zoom off, sliding along the floor :')

ALL HORSES ARE USELESS!
Nah, Shadowmere is good I guess. All the others just run around getting KO'd by Ogres -.-
