Re: Talos - The man not the God
The Underking is essentially a powerful lich, much like Mannimarco. There are differing accounts on who was the real Underking. The book states that it was King Wulfharth, but evidence in the games states it was Zurin Arctus, Septim's Imperial Battlemage.

Well shadows and betrayal and "slaves" reminded me of the Boethiah quest, so that is where I got my guess.
Someone else can go, I am not on often enough to think of something or check up on answers.

The Thalmor could also be putting on show, their real power is actually weaker than it seems.
They had to take power by doing a quick coup of the original ruling class of the Summerset Isle.
Remember Malborn from Skyrim's main quest? His family was killed in one of the Thalmor's secret purges. If ...

I was trying to point out that one of your "starting points" wouldnt work for rifle hunters. So no, that wasnt a strawman logical fallacy.
Anyways, I am firmly against a full ban of firearms, mainly because I am a hunter. If stricter regulations were passed on military type firearms, I could care ...

Ummm gun ban leads to less gun crime? Not for most countries like Britian for example. From 1998 violent crime with firearms went up 110%. And most forms of firearms are banned in Great Britain.

What I am trying to say is that it was obvious he was nuts. Psych evaluation or not he would have gotten a firearm.

Honestly, I think psych evaluation are a good thing. It would cut out all of the crazies who do not need guns to begin with.

They do not have psych evaluations for driving cars. Just because someone passed the driving test does not mean that they are not a crappy driver or are prone to road rage.
Same thing would be for guns.

What's funny about this whole argument is this:
Germany and Japan both have among the highest populations in the world, yet the least amount of gun violence. Their constitutions outright ban gun possession. Guess who wrote their constitutions: we (the US) did. Irony? Nahh..
Yeah... that is ...

Scotland comes from the Scotti, an Irish tribe that settled the area and displaced the Pictii around Roman times. Scotland is the land of the Scotii like England is the land of the Angles. Names still used long after the dominant ethnic group of that time died out.

Anyway, one thing I notice here is that a few of you say an AR-15 is an "assault weapon" or a "Class-III assault rifle" etc.

I believe what doomed this treaty was allowing Iran to be one of the head drafters of the treaty. The UN claims their role has no bite, but if anything, the UN was the one that got a bite; right in the butt.

Rhyme I was trying to be facetious in the first quote. WWI was one of history's most miserable conflicts. It was also one where there was no other way to kill the enemy. Tactics had not caught up with the technology. The soldiers were doing what they were trained to do and that was kill the opposing ...
