The easiest way to install Battlespire on Windows XP/Vista/7 is to use the alternate install method. Load up DOSBox, mount the directory you want it to be in such as C:\ and then mount the disc.

Move to the disc, and type 'INSTALL /F C' and that will install the game in C:\BATSPIRE.

It is always wonderful to hear Daggerfalls music in a higher quality form. Its such a spellbinding large amount of wonderful songs in that game. You did an amazing job on the remix and I'll have it played regularly as I listen to songs.

The current users are updated I believe every five minutes, to show the last five minutes of activity. So if you're not around when its updated - Tough luck I suppose.

In DOSBox your system specs mean a lot to how it runs. If you're getting break ups in the sounds turn down the cpu cycles by presing CTRL+F11, to speed them up press CTRL+F12. That way you can get a balance, also try turning down the detail by moving the detail slider in the esc screen to the left.

Firstly, give admin privilages to the Arena and DOSBOX .exes, you're life will be so much easier.


Install Arena into C:\ ARENA

Type the following to load the game up;

mount c c:\arena
C:
arena

---

It'll load.

If its too slow/fast type CTRL+F12 to quicken it, CTRL+F11 to slow it down.

There are no guilds in Arena. Just the main quest and random quests that can be given by any NPC. Daggerfall introduced the guild systems. The buildings and places for some are *in* Arena, but don't serve any function at all towards the guild.

The ranks within this forums are based off the ranks within the Temple in Morrowind. It has nothing to do with sexism. The Bethesda Forums use the exact same method for ranking.

Be me, however you'll most likely never see me on. However if you bother me enough in IRC I'll come on.

You need to make sure they are 'looking' at you (its when they stop and stare at you intently) and make sure you're within 'touch' range (so right up close to them) and then press the spacebar, which is the default activation key and a menu should popup with dialogue and such.

Opera has had this feature since at least version 6.0, which is I believe from 99. A much superior browser to IE or FF.

The only legal way to get a hold of Daggerfall is from buying it online or locally.

Daggerfall is not free/abandonware and you cannot download it online, do not ask for it here.
