Re: Kharjo
Honestly, the level cap of followers doesn't matter. Their health/stamina/magicka is dependent on the player's level, not their own, and their skills are maxed out when they reach their level cap, too. Thus, it makes no difference whether they are capped out at 30 or they're level 100. Their stats ...

Re: For Nocturnal clothes users
If you make the Nocturnal dress also occupy the forearm slot, then yes, it will eliminate the clipping. However, then you will only be able to wear either the dress or the gauntlets, but not both. Basically, you can't wear two items that occupy the same slot.

His concern isn't a year old. He just had a question and had the gumption to dig a year back in the topics. Not what I would have done, but why do you care anyways?
Well, for one, necro-posting is against the rules. Secondly, his question had nothing to do with the OP's question.

Just for the record, since you're on the PC: If you have the Unofficial Skyrim Patch installed, that trick with the Fortify Restoration Potion won't work, anyway. They removed that feature, just like they did the Necromage boost for vampires.

NPCs will "mine" depleted veins, as well, sometimes even just rocks where no ore vein is to be found. You can't take them as indicator of where you are able to mine.

This often happens quite often with ore veins that were depleted before. Leaving the mine and going back in usually fixes this.

Re: Dual-wielding waraxes or maces?
Between the three weapon types and their perks, I'd think that maces have the best with their ability to overcome armor protection.
In theory, yes. Practically, though, the NPCs in the vanilla game have a rather low armor rating anyway, due to their lack of armor perks and them mostly wearing low ...

Hm... I guess my game/installation is completely different then. I don't even have an iScreenshotIndex entry, and my screenshots aren't saved in the Skyrim folder, but somewhere deep within Steam's "userdata" folder. They are also JPG files, not BMPs.

Re: Video Card, Screenshots and Steam
Skyrim requires Steam to run. So if you can still play Skyrim, Steam is still working.
To take a screenshot, make sure that it says "bAllowScreenshot=1" in your Skyrim.ini under "[Display]". Also, are you sure you're pressing the correct key (F12) for taking a screeenshot?

This is what the Archery page of the wiki says about it:

Re: Old Gods/Forsworn matching set
No, you won't. It's the perk that checks for the ArmorMaterial IDs. Unfortunately, it doesn't check for the Forsworn one - Forsworn doesn't even have an armor material assigned to it. I wrote a mod a few years ago, which fixes that. However, due to how this check is implemented, there are some ...

Re: 2-Handed Weapons only for Combat characters?
It might be a bit inconvenient, but definitely feasible. For a warrior, use your spells while the enemies are still at a distance. Once they get close, get your 2-handed weapon out and finish them off. For an assassin, sneak attack with bows or daggers as much as you can. If you're spotted, get that ...

DON'T USE TRAINERS. Yes, it makes for a fast level when you have the coin for it, but it totally will destroy your modifers.
What? How does using trainers destroy your modifiers? If anything, it makes it easier to get the modifiers you want, since you choose which skills to train and how often. If ...

Re: Question on Vamp Mage - Destro vs Bow
If you sheathe the bound bow or switch to a spell, the bow will vanish and you will have to recast it. Also, keep in mind that you will need perks in Archery for the bow to make any decent damage. So, it's not like you're really saving any perks by using the Bound Bow instead of Destruction magic. I ...

You will want to get your Restoration up to 70. If you want to grind as opposed to doing it naturally, there is a place you can grind it in High Hrothgar, it is in the courtyard at the back of the building. Where the cold wind blows blocking off the path to higher up the mountain.
