Interesting things happened as my Nord, Leif Sleetshield, took the road from Riverwood to Falkreath. The first he saw was a Thalmor Justicar lagging far behind the rest of her group. He talked with her a bit, learned about her faction and admitted he was a Talos worshipper. This prompted her to ...

Got it.

Now, personally, I'm very neutral about the whole thing. I think both sides make fair points, and both sides are completely wrong on other things. Ulfric's actions were indeed symbolic, but some NPCs hint that Torygg would've been more than happy to hear out and consider Ulfric's words so ...

You can become a vampire and get cured as many times as you like. You can only be a werewolf twice, though.

I've checked in-game.

Yeah, we should probably get back to the duel. And good idea, let's stay away from Godwin and his law about angry failed Austrian painters.

Veldura, my wood elf archer had pretty much been running around hunting around Whiterun, selling the pelts to the merchants.

Juligus, my Imperial, had officially joined the Legion.

Celutha, my Dunmer, is in Raven Rock with Jannessa touring (my RP) the remains of her old hometown where she grew up.

I tend to carry around a pickaxe and a woodcutter axe just in case I'm in the mood to mine or chop wood.

Just beat the Main Quest for the second time. Not sure if I'll go for a third one.

Now to finish off the Civil War missions.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but they go by the name "Bethesda" after the city in Maryland they were formerly based in?

Not sure if they named themselves after the city of Bethesda, but they are an American company.

Now that we have their nationality cleared up, let's go back to the topic.

EDIT ...

I hated the fact that the elderscrolls are used as major plot maguffins in skyrim, I kinda liked the fact that the elder scrolls play a very minor role in the other TES games, its wonderfully ironic. I guess the creators of skyrim didn't get it.... must have been an all american team.

Of course ...

Lost another follower today to a dragon.

R.I.P. Dunmer Follower from Raven Rock, Solsthiem.

Maybe I should just not have any companions for a while. Seems they all die really easily. :[

R.I.P. the following:

#1- Citizens of Whiterun and Riverwood.
-- I'm sorry. My werewolf transformation ignited my thirst for blood and when it started...I'm so, so sorry. At least there are some essential characters in Riverwood and Whiterun to look after the kids.

#2- Lydia and Bard
-- I lost ...

So far, Sven from Riverwood has been inducted into the Blades. Now he has something more than being the bard from Riverwood who pines for Camila.

I'm also considering recruiting Uthgerd as well. She probably needs something new in her life as well, something worth fighting over.

But yeah, no ...

Ever thought that before the war Hadvar and Ralof were both trying for the attentions of Camilla? that might explain a few things :) and as soon as they go off to war Faendal and Sven swoop in....

Hate to burst your idea, but Ralof said he was sweet on a girl from Helgen. Don't think he was ...

Married Ysolda few days ago. Her dad (I think?) showed up for her, and for me it was Lydia and the beggar from Windhelm.

I've married the mage follower from Riften, the Nord warrior from Windhelm, and the Dark Elf assassin/thief from Whiterun with all my characters total.

Few days ago, my newest character just married Ysolda. She's doing fine. XD

I had one today. Apparently a Falkreath guard had just killed a Thalmor agent and was crouched down, inspecting his fallen enemy. Now, the Thalmor agent was lying facedown in the dirt and the guard's hand was hovering over the Thalmor agent's butt.

Not gonna lie, I chuckled at that.

Oh, believe me, there's a fair bit of fanfic about Hadvar and Ralof already ;D. Most of the humble anons at the Skyrim Kink Meme have decided that they're obviously ex-lovers, so there are angsty stories about them breaking up because of choosing different sides in the Civil War. I may have ...

I'm sure the next game will treat us as a great, albeit unknown, hero. The CoC got enough recognition in Skyrim, we heard of his exploits in the book and even met the man.

It's only heavily implied that we met the CoC. It could be just as likely that it was old Sheo that observed the happenings ...

I'm glad the population mass of Skyrim doesn't know/care about the pc's Dovahkiin abilities. Best to keep such powers on the down low, where the Dragonborn can lead a quiet life. I don't think any of my characters want to be in the next edition of Skyrim's "Paparazzi" magazine: "Read all about it ...

Orcs generally believe in dying in a fair fight, Malacath does not like an Orc that just sits there waiting to die. I'm not sure if your nearly getting your head cut off by the Imperials would count as sitting there, but it definitely isn't fighting to your last breath.

My Orc would probably side ...

But what of the song of the Dragonborn? They may not know that you, specifically, are the Dragonborn, but that song is about you, how they're all counting on you to save the world. That counts, right?

Neither side sells their point well.

Why Saadia Fails:
--> She's a Redguard woman. She should know damned well that her people intensely dislike the Thalmor. She should know that publically speaking out against them will not get her into trouble, it would just have a bunch of Redguards agreeing ...

I suppose the United States has always been split between certain issues. We're united under a few basic core ideas, but there are a lot of things we keep fighting each other about.

So a discussion like this that's essentially choosing a side over the freedom to worship whatever god you pleased ...

Well, my heritage (ancestors) were from France and Switzerland, so...Breton for me.

And I'm more of a cautious, quick person, so I would favor light armor with one handed weapon and a shield, with archery as secondary skill.

Though I'm not sure if I can make a character that physically looks like ...

I'm an American, and I vote for the Legion. (and if I were alive during the American Revolution, I'd be a neutral Loyalist. I would have sympathized with the colonies, but felt that there were other solutions to the issues they faced.)

Not really sure what real-world nationality has to do with this ...
