i just got the game yesterday(finaly)and had no trouble on my vista

well if i want 2 skip it i save file in seperate slot bfore i leave the sewer and just load it when i start a new game

after a good while i finaly got around to buying morrowind
so after a while of playin and i come across my first enemy but cant seem to kill it even tho its a rat i was swinging endlessly and not even hitting the thing?

i started a new game and decided on a full warrior type character but left the sewer with the mage sign(dont ask how) can i switch it to warrior

ive been running the game on low/medium settings with no problems
but since yesterday ive been having a lot of slowdowns in outdoor areas
the only mods i have on are UOP and USIP
plz help!

Ok so my funny thing is a bit more serious than most. When ever I attempt to complete the "In the Nightmare Darkly" quest the game dies and I get an "Oblivion had encounterd a problem, do you want to send an error report" thing. What is going on?
any mods active? if not try reinstalling it you ...
