Impossible to decorate your house.
This really bugs me. I bought the house in Solitude and cleared off all the counters and tables in hopes of displaying my collection of unique items, as well as random things placed around to look cool. I spent about an hour decorating the bedroom, making sure everything was in a perfect spot, and ...

Dropping a certain quest-essential item (spoilers)
I've noticed several quest-essential items in my inventory that I can't remove, even after the quest is over. The problem is they all have a weight, and the reason I'm bringing this up is because the Elder Scroll weighs 20 pounds. Now, I'd like to make it a nice centerpiece in my home since the main ...

Re: DLC Speculation
I want to see a High Rock expansion. Makes the most sense. High Rock is directly adjacent to Skyrim, and would provide enough content and new areas to cover a full Shivering Isles/Bloodmoon-tier expansion. I'd also like to see a small Solstheim expansion that adds the island and a couple of quests ...

They sent a hit squad after me once, but it may be due to my actions in the main quest so I'm not sure.

Re: List of ideas for mods
I won't make it, but it'd be nice if someone made a mod that extended the landmass out to the horizon like in Oblivion. If you look from the top of High Hrothgar you'll notice Skyrim is a giant rectangle and there's nothing beyond the mountains, whereas in Oblivion the land spread out for a few km ...

Make sure you don't have Vampirism. I used my last cure disease potion and it turned out I was a vampire so I had to go through a bunch of crap to remove it.

Accents I really like:
Female Nords
Female Argonians
Khajiit
Accents I don't like:
Male Argonians (There is no accent)
Male Dunmer (What OP said. Teasing us with Arvel's raspy voice and then giving us [generic white voice])
Male Guards (I don't know why they thought a bad Austrian/Schwarzenegger ...

You can't pick up books in the PC version. It's stupid. It's a blatantly obvious glitch that was completely ignored.
Goddamnit Bethesda.

Marriage
I'm trying to marry a Bard, and I have the amulet to do so, but I don't know how to raise her disposition to the point where I can ask her to marry me. Dialogue seems limited in Skyrim, should I just keep paying her to play her awesome rendition of ?

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but Pete Hines stated that the steam countdown for Skyrim is wrong and that Skyrim will unlock at 12:01 according to your timezone.

Doesn't matter how long it takes, since I'll be preloading on Steam days in advance.

Well, the fact that Bethesda shipped out copies of the full game to everyone in the media last week might have something to do with it. Maybe in the future they could, toy know, not do that.

Re: Sudden realization about Skyrim
I can't really think of a single character in Oblivion or Morrowind that I'm particularly attatched to or remeber for long periods of time, other than the Adoring Fan or maybe Glarthir because they're all boring generic NPCs that sound and look the same.

I don't get it like some fans think a game should be made for them.
Really? Of course games should be made for the fans. It seems like every developer is messing with their sequels these days to "cater to a different/bigger/broader audience". Instead of making a great game and letting people ...

Re: Post count?
Whether or not post count matters is entirely subjective. Since most of the posts I make on forums are relevant to the discussion I consider a post count to be an indicator of how active I am on that forum. Not that it matters, I hardly ever post here. I was just wondering why you guys didn't do it.

I don't get the logic behind not counting posts in certain boards. They're posts. I'm making a post right now. How is this any different than making a post in the Skyrim board?

Out of curiosity I took a look at the opening on youtube (Search "Skyrim leak" under most recent videos, durr). I didn't actually watch it, I literally just quickly skimmed through it because from what I've heard the graphics look terrible. I didn't see a problem with it, so it reinforced my ...

But I belive they're the most interesting faction in all of the Elder Scrolls games and I absolutely love playing its quests.

I always play a male for immersion, and if I want to look at an attractive woman I'll watch [&@%!] instead of stare at a video game character.

Re: Which console to use for Skyrim?
Well here's what I did: Built a $1100 computer & preordered Skyrim on Steam. This way I'll be able to have it preloaded, and play it on max as soon as possible. Hopefully midnight but I don't know when Steam will unlock it.
