Re: Welcomes and Goodbyes
I can't even begin to describe how much it warms me to see all the old UESPers floating back around! I spoke to Weka, as well, and she has yet to even pick the game up. No word from Deandra, though.

Have you lot forgotten who STARTED the Empire? Nords. Proud, strong, sword-swinging Nords, Nords who didn't need no stinking Nibenean poofters to carve a bloody thwath through masses of soft elf-flesh. Talos himself was a Nord, by Talos!

That statue is related to a pretty big questline.
It is certainly a Falmer statue.

Re: Landscape size and scale of Skyrim and comparison to oth
Morrowind has the largest scale of the last three games, as it takes place in Vvardenfell, which is only a fraction of the province Morrowind, and, in terms of lore, Vvardenfell seems to be about half the size of Skyrim.
Skyrim has the second largest, with the actual "landscape" being about equal ...

Re: What race are you?
I'd always been a faithful Dunmer player, but something about their appearance, disposition, and place in society in Skyrim didn't attract me. Thus, I started up a faithful Breton mage. I intended on having a second character that was to be strictly Mer, but none of the non-human races had any ...

Re: Does anyone LIKE the thalmor?
You aren't SUPPOSED to like the Thalmor.... they're supposed to be paralleled to the Mythic Dawn in Oblivion.
They're more like the Enclave in FO3 if anything. Far reaching political and military program, advanced technologies and tactics (in the Thalmor's case, coordinated magic use), superiority ...

Re: Does anyone LIKE the thalmor?
You aren't SUPPOSED to like the Thalmor. Your character has no choice in regard to whether or not to consider themselves an ally or supporter, and it is thus not intended to be subjective. Every questline that involves them results in their being the antagonists. I'll confess, this bothers me a ...

Re: Things you DON'T like about Skyrim
I have to say, reading this thread has me convinced that Skyrim really is an inferior game to the previous two in the series. I love it, don't get me wrong, but I also loved Morrowind and Oblivion, and immensely more, it seems. It just appears that the developers got sort of lost, and had trouble ...

It's true. I was able to tear through most of the game with a set of that gave me 100% resistance to each element. Then again, I suppose the potential for omnipotence has always been one of the quirks of TES series that made it so much fun for me. Largely, I think the Enchanting system wasn't as ...

What an abhorrent title for your thread. Try to make the "subject" actually relevant to the subject.
First, I will respond to the subject:
Yes. A quantity of people feel.

Re: IF There Was a Class System, What Class Would You Be ?
As many as you like.
That isn't a class system. They're intended to be different-but-equal. All your doing is making a thread where people can give a job description to their characters. It is assumed that any skills they're already USING any skills they would want in a class. Having no limit ...

Re: Skyrim with Power
It's a poor idea. Video game music videos are overdone, uninteresting, and wholly bland. Any "viral potential" it has is of a completely negligible quantity (unless you include a clip in the end of a cat hitting a man in the groin). Do something more productive with your time, like playing Skyrim.

Oh, Skyrim. I love the game, I really do, but it doesn't hold me like Oblivion did.
Though I miss attributes, dislike the removal of the Major v. Minor system, hate the interface, there are two humongous gameplay and immersion issues that just destroy for me.

I think guns would be a nice addition. Damage wise, and the whole fear-factor thing. I can see an arrow. I can see a lightning bolt. Can't see a bullet though. Not to mention how damn loud a gun from that era would be.

But there are heaps more bacteria than there is either tea or coffee, doesn't mean bacteria is better. I could really go for a nice hot cup of bacteria right about now though.

Anyhow, since tea is so broad, so dynamic, it'd be ridiculous for a single variety of bean to get the vote.
Oh cousin, you should know that there are several varieties of "the bean", with as much a different taste to them as different kinds of tea.
Codex, my friend, it seems you've caught me ...

Re: The Tea vs Coffee thread
I have to cast my vote for tea.
See, with coffee, most people drink it for the caffeine rather than the taste. Hell, compared to tea, the taste is very bland and one-sided.
A good British Black Tea (I drink a cup of Bewley's Irish Breakfast Tea every morning) has about 3/5 as much caffeine as coffee ...
