Hilda's Apothecary
"I... Suppose we could." Valentia hesitantly agrees. All she wanted to do was get on the road again. "Dorian, what do you think?"
Docks
Eolwyn found a collection of busted barrels in a corner of the docks. A straw mat was there as well. No one was there.

The Beach
The Redguard was tempted to rise to the Orc's challenge, in his sorry state Marzoul wouldn't put up much of a fight. But the woman just smirked. "Alright, so you don't have any gold, that's fine too. We can work out a deal, I'm sure, and maybe make some money out of it too." The Redguard woman extends her arm to the Orc. "My name is Rosa. And I'd like to hire you guys to help me make a few septims. In exchange for healing your injuries, saving you from freezing to death and now promising plunder and riches." Rosa said calmly and cooly.
The Meade Hall
The Meade Hall quieted in preparation for God it's story. The chief even sat to hear his story, after all this was a warrior of great renown and honor. He was Hodor. To be fair it was either that or listen to the same five stories everyone knew, twas a small community to say the least.
Nandnril
Nandnril looked for the Stablemaster's coinpurse on his now-unconscious body. Figuring he could get out of town easier with some money. He wasn't wanted everywhere after all.

Re: Tamrielic Adventures: Vol. 2
Maurzol rudely slapped her hand away, more so to send a message than for assault. He hardly saw her in much respect, let alone a threat since thier first encounter. "Like the great Maurzol ever needed your charity.. these sorry lots are the ones in dept, not I.." he said in a bark, never in the slightest intent to play nice "Do not think I am friend, girl. No amount of gold can change that.." he looked over his shoulder to his weather-worn crewmates before returning his gaze "But these pups are in need of a good challenge.. tell us what it is you request?"

Re: Tamrielic Adventures: Vol. 2
Hodor, Badass story teller
"Gather round boys and girls for it is time for tale about one of Hodor's exploits, aye he has been through a lot of battles and done a lot of honourable jobs for the glory of the companions but ye will be wanting to listen to how i became known as the goblin slayer and maybe, i'll tell ye the tale but today, ye shall hear about how i caved into milk drinking." Hodor told his audience. "Aye, ye shall hear about how i slaughtered a gang of bandits that raped their way through our beloved Skyrim and had the misfortune of having Hodor being thrown at them." He said as he scratched his beard. "It began on a typical day 3 winters past and I had just finished bringing down a mammoth for our winter's feast. Of course, it would be unfair to claim the credit as mine as we companions always give credit where it was due and i had the help of a few whelps or recruits as some may call them. It was a fierce battle and their arrows proved to be too much for the beast. It was a rather nice meal although it took the lads way too long to cook it and we had the fire pit on full! Anyway, we recieved a courier in the form of a young lad and he complained about the damn cold before deciding to deliever his message. Damn Imperials. Anyway, we were offered 10,000 septims to kill the bandits and whenever we had jobs like these, we would brawl over who got to prove their beard's worth. So, we fought in the yard with nothing but our breeches on and by Talos's sacred words, we decided on the lucky [&@%!] that would kill the rapers and that was lucky ol' Hodor. I departed the next day and it took 30 nights for me to hunt them down." He said as he got up.
"I spotted 30 of the [&@%!] in total and they were all distracted by the incoming blizzard. "Ah, it's too cold," "Me tits are cold." "Me cock is cold" [&@%!] like that"
"I waited until the blizzard arrived then launched my attack. Without it, i would have been killed but the blizzard aided me and i delievered them to Talos in bloody pieces. I charged at them whilst roaring as loud as they can. I chopped two heads off before the rest stood up and made the dumb mistake of charging at me. All at once and i took down 5 by spinning around in a circle. I remember one screaming like a wee imperial after losing his copy of the lusty Argonian Maid after i hit him in the balls. Now, i don't like hitting people in the balls with mah ax but [&@%!] deserved it and i [&@%!] off them off. They fought harder but they were [&@%!] fighters and I am the slayer of Goblins. I toyed with them at first. Gave them false hope when there was none and taunted them. Sure, some may claim it wasn't honourable but these were rapers and their honour was long gone so why should I give them my honour? I didn't but i gave them honourable deaths via combat.
After killing half of them, one of them hit me in mah balls with a sodding hammer and that was one massive mistake on their part. Sure, they were already dead but i was giving them hope before i killed them. Now, they had just gone and made a beserker made and ye do not make us mad. I roared as i grabbed the sod by the throat and threw him backwards. I sunk my ax into his balls and tore through the rest like a hot knife through butter. By the end of the day, my axe had drank, my armour was bloody and i was freezing my arse off but it was done and i gave them to Talos to deal with. Our harsh land had 30 less rapers to deal with and the matter of being paid was left. So naturally, the [&@%!] that hired us screwed me over by throwing in a "Take them alive" clause after i had departed and i was more [&@%!] off then a drunken orc trying to [&@%!] a rabbit. I called him every name in the book and punched him in the face as a reminder to why we do not put up with [&@%!] like that. Sure, the [&@%!] fighters guild may accept that but we are Companions and we are real warriors. We fight who we want. We do what we want and we [&@%!] those who give us consent to. We also throw the hunts and feasts in Tamriel but many are scared [&@%!] about losing their sword in our bets. That and we love to fight after getting [&@%!]." Hodor told his audience with a smirk.
"Now, ye may wonder why it's not a good story but i'm a warrior not a damn bard that plays on a wooden lute for a living and makes [&@%!] songs about lying khajits or about an old goat's turnip. If ye want me to improve it, ye can shove ye idea up yer arse and sit in the corner whilst we give the ship the welcome it needs."

"It would be faster and you seem stronger, though it remains to be seen whether you could actually defend yourself if you had to." Dorian agreed, "Regardless, you'll probably be fine. I'll go with Niralie then, perhaps to the clothing store or the bookstore?"

"Well, she doesn't have any weapons," Niralie pointed out, "while I have a sword. She's got a broken arm, and I have a head injury, and we're both Destruction mages. We're probably in roughly the same shape." She shrugged. It didn't really matter to her which of the two Dorian went with.
To Valentia she asked, "Shall we meet outside of this store when we're done, then?"

Apothecary
Valentia shrugged. "I don't think I'm much of a target. I don't wear any jewelry... openly, I mean." she said. "I'll just make a sweep at the smithy and be back here, alright?"
Stables
Nandrnil found 30 septims in the coinpurse. The stablemaster continued to sleep. Nandrnil could hear the door of the nearby house open and then close; someone had either walked in, or walked out.

Niralie - Hilda's Apothecary
"Nor am I right now," Niralie pointed out, holding out her hands and wiggling her fingers to point out that she was not wearing any rings, before putting her hands back at her sides. "All right. And you'll get the food too, then, right?"

Re: Tamrielic Adventures: Vol. 2
Windhelm Docks
The busted barrels in the corner of the docks seemed a suitable place for Eolwyn to hide her belongings. In one, she placed Nandrnil's grimoire, which was wrapped in a piece of dark red cloth. A few pouches of coin she divided between that barrel and another beside it, along with a few other items.
She removed her bow and quiver from her back, wrapped them up in the straw mat and placed them in a third barrel. She took her dagger from her hip and attempted to push it as best as she could into her right boot; hopefully out of sight.
Hoping that her belongings would remain safe, she straightened up her satchel -which now contained only basic supplies and ingredients- and made her way over to the Morgiah. She casually approached the two pirate guards on the ramp; making herself look as if she was being wary of the Windhelm guards in the area.

The two guards were noticeably different in stature; one rather stocky for a dunmer, one tall and muscular. The former wore no facepaint while the other had a white hand emblazoned on his face.
The latter, taller guardsman held up his hand and spoke when Eolwyn approached. "What's your business on the Morgiah?" he asked in a rude tone and a heavy accent.
Windhelm Markets
With a second nod to the both of them, Valentia left to go browse the markets.

Eolwyn answered the Dunmer in a hushed tone. “I'm here to see Mr. Linvail. Err.... guy named Soven said he might be interested in me skills. Might have a job goin. You know....” She leaned closer to the man and whispered, “...pickpocketin' and stuff.”
She looked round the docks quickly, as if fearing that someone may hear, then glanced back at the guards.

The shorter of the two guardsmen looked relieved. "Aye, Soven made it out of there then. Told him not to go looking around the higher-class bars... never listens, him."
The taller guardsman slapped the other on the back of the head. "You don't think we're actually gonna let her board, right?"
"Well why not, Avin?" requested the shorter one. "She dropped Mr. Linvail's name, that's knowledge enough right?"
"Because we barely know her, you idiot. You know a foreign element is bad for business!" shouted the guardsman identified as Avin. "Tell her to get lost?"
The shorter guardsman huffed. "You have a mouth, you tell her! Besides, we haven't made any progress at all! None of the boys can pick pockets, they're good at beating things out of people! That don't work on most of these nord types!"
At last, Avin mumbled some sort of curse under his breath. "Alright, on you go, but Andris here will follow you. Andris, she pulls a weapon on the captain, you gut her."
"Right. Gut her." Andris agreed. He didn't seem all that bright. "Alright, on with you. No funny business."

The double act routine between the two Dunmer was rather amusing to Eolwyn. Andris was clearly the more dim witted of the two; he would probably be easy to manipulate or coax information from.
Eolwyn held her hands up slightly with the mention of attacking the captain. "Hey fellas, I ain't gonna try nothin'. I'm just after a job."
She boarded the ship and followed Andris' lead.

Nandrnil - Stables
Nandrnil decided that he had wasted enough time. Trying to look as much like he belonged as physically possible, he began to approach the carriage since the horse was unsaddled and Nandrnil was not stupid enough to try riding it. Or so he thought, feeling that he had made the best of a bad situation.
The Meade Hall - Hodor
Were these the average folk of skyrim, they'd have likely found the story a bit crude but these were the hearty folks of the ice wastes and did not offend easily. They responded with cheers at Hodor's tales of cracking skulls and testicles. It appealed mostly to the young in the group, it had a lot of action with no discernible lesson unlike any of the other stories they had been told. The elderly simply wrote the story off as a young man boasting and the Warriors among the tribe took the story as a chance to surpass the mighty Hodor with their accomplishments. The night of many tales begun, as in the morning Hodor and the Chief would go to the beach to reclaim any of the wreckage from the sunken ship.
"Tell ya what, Honored Companion," Bulgarm the Chief said stroking his big black beard. "join me. The first one to pass out loses. You've got to be thirsty after that tale." Bulgarm said smiling a big grin with a few teeth missing. He was an ugly [&@%!], but a behemoth of a man.
The Beach
"Dwarven ruins," Rosa said with a sly grin, seeing that she had at least convinced the group not to murder she and Kalessa on the spot. Rosa pointed further inland, up the path that the pair had come down and back up onto the mainland. "we saw some earlier when we came this way and mages will pay a pretty penny for any of the parts and you can usually find some good loot. Two mercenaries would not stand a chance in a place like that, but a whole group of us? We could do it and make a hefty profit to boot. Anything you find in there is yours too." The sly mercenary said to the others. Rosa set down her pack, which was visibly full. There was a visible bedroll, and a couple blankets with likely more within...

Re: Tamrielic Adventures: Vol. 2
The Morgiah
As Eolwyn boarded the ship behind Andris and descended to the lower deck, she could see the standard goings-on of the Morgiah. It was mostly men inspecting jewelry and oddly tossing it aside when it didn't meet the standards that were yet unknown to her. They weren't stealing for money, it seemed.
In addition, several large crates of cargo were being loaded and moved about. Two dunmer seemed to struggle with a particularly heavy crate.
"Ugh... what's in this damned thing?" complained one of the men hauling the crate off.
The other grunted as he re-adjusted his grip, almost dropping the crate in the process. "Some goods from Orsinium we lifted from a merchant here. Captain Junior means to sell it off at a different port once we find what we're looking for here."
The two men finally reached a dark corner and dropped off the crate, walking away right after. Eolwyn was able to catch a glimpse of a dark figure slipping away from the area of the crate and into the quarters of the crew. No one else seemed to have noticed.
Andris led her to another dark corner of the cargo deck, where a red-haired dunmer was inspecting a ring. "Captain Linvail, we have someone here who wants to help. Says she can pick pockets with the best of 'em."
Captain Linvail's face did not change; he seemed to posses an eternal scowl. He looked up after finishing his inspection; it appeared the ring was inadequate. "For your sake and hers, Andris, I hope this isn't some vigilante fool trying to be a hero. You know how we like to handle heroes. My father will be here in a short time, and he will be quite cross if we have not found what we are searching for. I'd hate to cause a commotion to attract the Morag Tong again."
After spitting out such information rather freely, Captain Linvail stood and looked Eolwyn in the eye. "Who are you, and what do you want?"
Windhelm Stables
The carriage master mumbled as he woke from his nap. He was an elderly nord with a well-built physique, likely having worked most of his life. "Eh... where ye headed?" he asked Nandrnil, not getting a good look at his illusion-riddled face. It wasn't often he had to escort guardsmen, but it wasn't the first time.

Windhelm - Stables
"How far will this get me?" Nandrnil asked holding out the bag of coins to the carriage master. He probably could manage a minor spell, but did not have the heart. Nandrnil was just now reacting to the fact that he murdered a man only a short while ago. Guilt began to pull on him like a minor nagging voice in the back of his head, added to the many other faces that haunted the elf.

Dorian - Hilda's Apothecary/Windhelm Streets
Dorian looked over Niralie appraisingly, pursing his lips for a second before opening them to say, "Right then, clothes shopping first. It'll be a right pain to carry the books around anyhow."
Without waiting for an answer and clearly expecting obedience, the Breton pushed through the door and set off at a brisk walking pace in the direction of the clothing shop.

Windhelm Stables
The elderly carriage driver looked at the satchel. "Could take you to Solitude with that money, I'd wager. Hop on back and we'll be off."
Windhelm Streets
Dorian was easily able to locate the clothing store. The interior of the store was maintained by a well-dressed Imperial man. "Ah-hah, welcome. You look to be a man who appreciates fine clothing. May I interest you in some silks from the isles? They are the finest, you know."

Nandrnil- Stables
Nandrnil shrugged and hopped on the back of the carriage. Eager to get away from this wretched area of skyrim.

The Morgiah
And what is it you might be looking for, fool pirates? Grelok thought as he poked his head out of the crew's quarters. If the way was relatively clear, he would sneak his way up to the captain's cabin.

Niralie - Hilda's Apothecary/Windhelm Streets
Niralie was about to answer when the Breton set off. She hurried after him, sighing in mild annoyance. It didn't matter which they saw first; she only was getting one book, plus writing materials, and was carrying it with as she traveled anyway, but they found the clothing store before she caught up enough to carry on a conversation.
"Hello," she said to the shopkeeper, slightly winded from Dorian's pace and the fact that she wasn't at full strength yet. "I'm the customer today. I'm looking for another set of robes similar to what I'm wearing; something comfortable for traveling."

The Pirate Ship - the Morgiah
Eolwyn followed Andris as he walked through the ship; looking at everything that was going on. There were people inspecting jewellery fastidiously. It seemed like they were looking for particular pieces or perhaps certain materials; for what reason she did not know.
As she walked through the cargo deck, she wondered what was in the barrels that were being moved. Goods from Orsinium? What kinds of goods, I wonder. Her eyes caught a glimpse of a figure creeping in the shadows. Nandrnil?! Eolwyn urged to go and investigate but she couldn't go wandering off suddenly when she was supposed to be following the guard. With much reluctance she continued walking.
Upon seeing Captain Linvail, it was evident that even he was scrutinizing the jewellery that had been pinched. What is so specific that he's looking for? An engraving? A certain jewel?
The Bosmer raised her eyebrows at the mention of the Morag Tong. These pirates had gotten themselves some dangerous unwanted attention.
As predicted by Ragnir at the inn, Dalvum's father was definitely part of the organisation still; the boss it seemed, and this red-haired Dunmer was working under his father's orders.
When Linvail asked her his questions, Eolwyn looked at him and answered politely.
"Good day, Mr Linvail, Sir. Thank you for letting me board your splendid ship. My name's Gildan and I'm here to help with whatever jobs you got going. Pickpocketin', thievin', or other stuff. I ain't shy of hard work, Mr. Linvail."

Re: Tamrielic Adventures: Vol. 2
The Morgiah - Captain Linvail
If Captain Linvail appreciated the politeness, he didn't show it. His disapproving scowl remained as he ran his hand over the small pile of jewelry in front of him.
"You say you're eager to help, and I question your intent." the captain began. "But one must wonder about your loyalty to gold, and at this point I'm willing to pay handsomely if you recover a certain... object that is confirmed to be within this city."
Linvail 'Junior' stepped away from the table and leaned against a post. "Tell me, 'Gildan'... have you ever heard of the Threads of the Webspinner?"
The Morgiah - Crew Quarters
From his position in the mostly empty crew quarters, Grelok could spy a hatch leading above deck. It would likely be the quickest route to the captain's cabin, which was also located above deck.
There were also a few holes in the side of the ship where cannons were meant to be placed, which were big enough for the orc to crawl out of if he wished to stick to the sides of the ship. He couldn't be sure of the possibility of balance out there, though.
He heard some snoring, a few feet to his right. He wasn't alone, but he was safe for the moment.
Windhelm Stables
The carriage driver accepted the payment and quickly snapped into shape, cracking the reins on his horse with a loud "Hyah!". The carriage took off soon after down the western road to begin their trek to Solitude.
The stablemaster's assistant, seeing his boss fallen asleep in the hay on the job, shook his head and wrote down the time of the carriage's departure and its' destination.
Windhelm - Imperial Finery
"Ah, but of course, my lady." the Imperial answered as Niralie entered. "You'll find I have the best collection in Windhelm, or my name isn't Titus Maximus!"
With that said, Titus went to a rack where he kept his travel-gear for sale. Niralie could pick whatever she wanted from what she saw.
