The different tests do vary a bit, it's true. But if you take multiple tests and get the same result most of the time, it can be assumed that you've got your accurate answer.

Yeah, this is me, welcome to the two percent my fellows:
Your personality type: INTJ.

Strength of individual traits: I - 59%, N - 42%, T - 72%, J - 20%.

So I took the test Cam posted...

Introverted (I) 100% Extraverted (E) 0%
Sensing (S) 55% Intuitive (N) 45%
Thinking (T) 80% Feeling (F) 20%
Judging (J) 59% Perceiving (P) 41%

One site said INTJ a year ago. Then, a few days ago, it said INTP.
Now another site says ISTJ.

Reading through the little bit of text there and I think the INTP one was more accurate. A lot of those points are just... No.
But, then again, these tests aren't much more than general... Things. It's late and I'm tired. I don't put much trust in these. It's more amusing than anything.

Edit:
Did another test just for the heck of it:
Your personality type: INTJ.

Strength of individual traits: I - 94%, N - 14%, T - 58%, J - 8%.

The INT seem to be the most common, but the J and the P seem to switch.
The S in the test Cam posted was kinda odd.

I don't think the point of these tests isn't to tell you who you are. I mean, some might value them for that reasons, but I think most of us probably have a pretty good idea of who we are anyway. I think the point of such tests is to show you what similar people have done with their lives and what their strengths tend to be (and weaknesses too, I guess - things they might need to work on). I think it's a useful thing to do if you're feeling a bit lost with your life. I see potential for these things to give people a bit of inspiration and confidence. Personally, I think I got some of that out of it, but I think mostly I just find this stuff interesting.

I don't get any of that out of this. Like I said, I just find it amusing. That's about it. I don't need a test to show what others have done with their lives - that stuff doesn't matter to me. I was just doing those as a sort of entertainment... I must have an odd idea of what's entertaining at 1:25am or something. This would probably bore me if I were actually rested.

Though I will admit I'm half-tempted to take some of these tests with the personality of my Skyrim and Oblivion characters just to see what they would get. Now that would be interesting.

INTP
I - 66%, N - 36%, T - 12%, P - 10%.

I would never claim that it's useful to everyone. Obviously that's not going to be true.

it's more like a core of personalities. plus, it varies according to the percentages. everything else about the person can change who they are.

Also notice how the test Cam posted scores the results differently. The lowest score in his test is >50% where as the lowest score in the one I posted is >0%. Using the scoring method for the test I posted - at least, what I think it was - but the results from his test, his percentages would be: I:86% - N:18% - T:50% - P:36%.

ENTP

E:50% N:36% T:32% P:20%

From what Google is telling me that works.

These tests are only a general guideline for what your personality might be. Like the media, we all put our own spin on life and we all leave our own unique marks. These tests can only really tell you as much as your closest friends can tell you.

One of my closest friends told me he would go to war with me and slaughter 1000 goats in my honor and then we'd go to lunch. I love good friends. I should see what their personality types are and see if any of them are the same as me or if we're diverse.

INTJ. I forget the percentages, but apparently we're "rare" and "interesting"...

I'm also cynical, so I don't believe that one second.

I'm INTJ

I - 62%, N - 32%, T - 22%, J - 22%

I have done many of these tests in the past and have always gotten INTJ. It describes me quite well to my suprise

Just took a different test. INTJ again, but borderline INTP:

Introvert(78%) iNtuitive(50%) Thinking(75%) Judging(4%)
You have strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion (78%)
You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (50%)
You have distinctive preference of Thinking over Feeling (75%)
You have minor preference of Judging over Perceiving (4%)

I can relate to descriptions of both INTJ and INTP - there's a lot in both that I see in myself.

Your personality type: ENFP.

Strength of individual traits: E - 58%, N - 17%, F - 4%, P - 8%.

That's me. What's that mean?

Edit: Reading the description, that does sound like me. Whoa.

I remember there being this thing, where a study put the same result for every person wwho did a test, and 80% of people said it was exactly like them in some way.

I've read through them all and whilst I can relate to some I still think ENTP suits me best. I also share it with some pretty cool (and/or interesting) people - Machiavelli, Steven Colbert - and then some not so cool people - Ahmadinejad, Newt Gingrich, Murray Rothbard - but they're only few, really.

Edit: Che Guevara, Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez are actually all ENFP:/ My bad.

The only person I think I recognized that was in my list was a female actor called Bullock or something.

Sandra Bullock. She was in Miss Congeniality. :P

These tests make me suspicious.
Especially since everyone seems to be an INTP.

And, for instance, my percentages were barely in the realm of an INTP, and it classed me in it anyways.
If you want an actually accurate one, I suggest you see a psychologist.
