Let's just say that it is so people can't say "HEY GUYS, LOOK AT ME, I'M SO UNIQUE" when they get that result, too.

....I would hope we are all unique enough to make that claim regardless of our personality

INFP isn't the rarest anyway. That title belongs to INFJ... Didn't Avron get that? Strange. If so, I know three of them... Very odd.

Edit: No, Avron got INFJ last time, but is now an ENFJ... An E by 2%. Close enough :p

Your personality type: INTJ.

Strength of individual traits: I - 58%, N - 26%, T - 60%, J - 6%.

Took it again, this time actually looking at the questions, and same result. The descripiton is fairly accurate as well, and it contains the best quote I've ever seen.

I am familiar with Mr. Ellison and while his works are glorious, he's a cynical and grumpy old [&@%!], and I disagree with him. People are entitled to the pursuit of happiness, and sometimes happiness can be achieved with ignorance.

Awh, crap... I'm a special snowflake.

Naturally the types do change as you grow and learn. I read that these tests are meant to be retaken every few years. I used to be very shy, and while I definitely grew out of that, I'm still pretty prone to my quiet moments...when I need them. ;)

I took the test earlier today and got INFJ: I - 22%, N - 2%, F - 26%, J - 36%.
The last time I took it, I had similar results but higher I. I guess getting to know people at university made a difference! :)

•You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (50%)

ENFP...
E. Representing!Barely.
Apparently Dr. Seuss was ENFP, along with Walt Disney, Fidel Castro, Oscar Wilde, and Osho to name a few.
Another note, the fictional character Ariel from The Little Mermaid is also ENFP. :P

Musicman = Averageman!

I don't mean that as an insult... Just sounds better than "Well-rounded-man" lol.

I wouldn't necessarily call ENTP 'average.'
If it is, I need to get out more. :p

He said that because of my percentages. I'm barely anything. Almost smack dab in the middle. Therefore, average. Or well-rounded.

Quote:
One of the few bottlenecks that INTPs impose upon themselves is their restless fear of possible failure. No other personality type worries that much about missing a piece of the mental puzzle or overlooking some crucial fact that might lead to a better solution. Unlike their more confident INTJ or ENTJ cousins, INTPs could spend ages reflecting on their actions

People who were on the mod team can attest to this.
Quote:
INTP personalities are usually very shy and reluctant when it comes to meeting other people. However, INTPs can also be very friendly and confident when they interact with people they know well or talk about things that interest them. INTPs are flexible and relaxed in nearly all situations, except when their beliefs or logical conclusions are being criticized. In those cases, the INTP is likely to become very defensive and argue tirelessly.

about right.

I'm ISTP, with fluctuations based on how crabby I am at the moment. Spock, goddamn it.

Most common type for the semi-hardcore gamers this site's usergroup is focused on.

So it seems my percentages have been the highest so far, beating AddictedToMorrowind by a few percentage points. My total: 279 (INFP). AddictedToMorrowind's Total: 271 (ISTP). I think Mauin was next with 234 (INTP).

I think it says volumes about your personality that you went through the trouble of calculating those...

I have the same type, and I make jokes that I've already figured out and can't stand when they don't get the pun, heh.

The different tests can probably produce drastically different results percentage-wise though.

Edit: took the same test Cam did, got a different letter result.
Quote:
Percentage breakdown of your results:
Introverted (I) 82% Extraverted (E) 18%
Intuitive (N) 82% Sensing (S) 18%
Feeling (F) 55% Thinking (T) 45%
Perceiving (P) 68% Judging (J) 32%
